Dining at Pigsfly Kitchen & Bar and Beer Basket + of Paradise Gelato Boutique

I love to spend our weekends in the pool, as it is the best way to chase the working stress away.

Getting ready to go out after my 'Le-park' session in the pool. My OOTD of the day!

It's another re-visit to Pigsfly Kitchen & Bar, and this time we brought Meryl with us! It is a casual dining eatery place which is located at East Coast Road (Katong area), and also a place where people come together for the love of food and beer. You will find various independent kitchens serving up a variety of cuisines and a bar which serves a wide selection of artisanal beers from around the world!

We picked Thai Cuisine from the Blue Elephant. I had Chicken Pad Thai while Baby had Green Curry Chicken with Rice.

Meryl went for Indian cuisine - Butter Chicken with Naan and Basmati Rice. We also ordered 2 sides – Crispy Chicken Wings and Spring Roll served with Thai Chili Sauce.

We really love their Thai food very much, and we also love the food concept setting and it is a great place to catch up with your friends over a drink!

After our meal, we walked down the street of Katong to get an ice-cream fix from Birds of Paradise Gelato Boutique!

If you are looking for some beers or ciders for a night’s out, do head over to Beer Basket!

I picked up a bottle of Brothers Honeycomb Cider while Baby had a bottle of a unique crafted beer - Sake Lager by Monkami Moonzen.

What’s beer without beer grubs? I highly recommend the Smoked Duck Pizza with Hoisin Sauce, which is absolutely great for sharing.

We also ordered Spam Fries and Tako Karaage to go along with our drinks!

We love our dining experience with friendly service at Beer Basket, and our damage was about SGD89.

Recently, I brought Suni to a space-themed bar bistro which is located opposite Aljunied MRT Station. The eatery place is called - Space Box, and they served awesome delicious yet affordable BBQ skewers. I'm glad that she enjoyed the food. Let's meet up soon again!

Baby has been preparing meals for us lately, so I think it is my turn to do so. I decided to do Egg Fried Rice with Bak Kwa for dinner. This was my first attempt, and as per my Baby, he said it tasted good. I am glad that he enjoyed it. My mommy saw my IG Story on my fried rice, and guess what?, she wants me to cook for her too lolx!!

I end my post with a random dinner executed by Baby. He prepared us Gyudon (Japanese Beef Bowl), and for taste wise - it's not too bad as it was his first attempt!

Lastly and not to forget, thanks 'Doctor Anywhere' (DA) for the delivery of the complimentary self-care kit. It consists of a Digital Thermometer, Hand Sanitizer Spray and a bottle of Cevion Effervescent Vitamin C tablets.
