Simple us ; Simple food fare

Baby and I had dinner at Penang Kitchen which is located at Coronation Arcade on a random weekday after our work... We ordered their signature dishes such as thePenang Prawn Mee Soup, Lor Bah, and Penang Char Kway Teow...

The Penang Char Kway Teow was fried with enough 'wok hei', the prawns and sausages were generous, but what I like best is that it was cooked without a trace of excessive oil.

Penang Prawn Mee Soup is worth a mention as the soup base is thick and flavorful, and the ingredients (prawns and sliced pork) were pretty generous too.

Lor Bah was served with homemade sweet sauce and chilli. Each piece taste good with a mixture of lean and fatty meat and it goes well with the dipping sauce and chilli

The damage was SGD28-ish. The food that was served in Penang Kitchen is fairly authentic but the prices are pretty on the high side.

This is either my third or fourth visit to 126 Wan Dou Sek and it is definitely a place that I will keep re-visiting because they have an array selection on their menu! Apart from dim sum entrees, they offer chilled crabs too...

The Sliced Fish porridge was smooth and thick, and I like the generosity of the fish meat...

The Char Siew Rice Roll at 126 Wan Dou Sek was different from other places as the rice roll was thicker in texture and served with a special brown sauce that taste slightly sweet. It was super addictive that left me wanting more.

Seaweed Sushi-Roll tasted great!!

We had Home-made Barley to end our meal!! It comes in a large bowl rather than a cup. *unique sight*
