Preview Screening of Finding Mr Right 2

A few days ago, I went to the preview screening of the film 'Finding Mr Right 2', which premiered on the 05th of May 2016. Thanks Clover Films for the invite to this romantic genre movie.

'Finding Mr Right 2' is the sequel to the successful 2013 movie, 'Finding Mr Right'. The original cast - Wu Xiubo and Tang Wei from the first installment rekindle their love and romance for this new sequel. The setting of this new movie is in the USA and Europe.

Fret not, if you didn’t catch the first movie, 'Finding Mr Right', as it is a standalone sequel to the this new movie/instalment!

Jiao (starring Tang Wei) moved to Macau with her father when she was 15 years old, and she works as a casino escort who has met with many misfortunes and made many bad choice in life, but she still hopes to achieve a beautiful life.

Daniel (played by Wu Xiubo) is a Real Estate Agent in Los Angeles who has an agenda to get close to an elderly couple to make a windfall, but as the storyline progresses, he decided to call off his motive, due to his conscience.

Jiao and Daniel cross each other's paths all thanks to a copy of the 70s novel, '84, Charing Cross Road', a story of two people who used letters to communicate with each other across the world. They began to correspond with each other using snail mail to share their 'Ups' and 'Downs'. Love blooms between them after exchanging letters more than a year, and they start to slowly fall in love with each other, even though they have not met up.

My take for this movie is that I enjoy the movie, but I personally feel that it is more like a fairytale rather than a love story. Nevertheless, it is still an entertaining movie to watch with your loved ones and treasure whatever you now!
