Weekend High Tea Dim Sum Buffet at Peach Garden + JJ Thai Cuisine

Fashion trends comes and goes, and this includes earring designs as well. I always have a soft spot for Punk Human Face designs, even though the trend for such designs are fading! My earrings of the day on a lovely Sunday!

A good dim sum meal doesn't always come with a low price tag! Luckily Peach Garden offers their Weekend High Tea Dim Sum Buffet with an incredibly affordable damage! They are now offering a great deal whereby 1 adult dines free with every 3 paying adults! This offer is only available at the Thomson Plaza outlet, and the dim sum buffet includes a decent selection of dim sum and local dishes. It's a Double date with the Lee Family, and Missy Rena dined free as she is less than 4 years old.

I love the setting of the buffet as the dim sum was served from traditional pushcarts. The servers went around the tables, and we can pick up our favorite dim sum.
Served piping hot, the usual dim choices range from Siew Mai, Steamed Pork Ribs in black bean sauce, BBQ Buns which are just some of the few items of what the buffet offers! Both Jasmine and I especially enjoyed theSichuan Spicy Wonton in Hot Oil. The spicy and aromatic hot sauce coated the tender prawn and meat dumplings perfectly. What a beautiful indulgence!

We also tried some fried dim sum items, such as fried beancurd skin rolls and fried prawn dumplings.

We were so delighted that they served Peking Duck, Drunken Prawn and Prawn Paste Chicken (Har Cheong Gai) as part of the buffet! We also had a warm bowl of Century Egg Porridge!

We ended our buffet session with some egg tarts and hot desserts - Black Sticky Rice Dessert (Bubur Pulut Hitam).

It was always nice catch up with the Lee Family! Before we parted, Missy Rena did some artwork and I became her assistant! We took a photo with her completed artwork.... Yay! So pretty!

Baby and I love Thai food, and one of the eatery places that is nearest to our place is JJ Thai Cuisine, which is located right opposite Sembawang Shopping Centre. We went there for our dinner on a random weekday. We love the wide selection of Thai food that JJ Thai Cuisine offers!

We ordered our usual favorite such as Homemade Thai Prawn Cake, Seafood Tom Yum (Thick Version), Fried Olive Rice and Phad Thai. The damage was SGD40, and we will definitely be back again!

Home-cooked food is still a default option for both Baby and I as we are still undergoing WFH most of the time. Thanks Mum Vi for cooking for us!

I go back to my workplace once a week, and it is nice to catch up with my colleagues and office lunch-mates for lunch. Baby came over to Suntec to fetch me from my work, and we settled our dinner at Paradise Dynasty. Our damage was SGD35. It was pretty affordable all thanks to the on-going 20% discount of the total bill for dining in.
