[promo code] Laundry capsules from Scrub.sg + Birthday Celebration at the Hainan Story, Hotel Boss + Dinner at You Kee XO Restaurant

If you haven’t tried laundry capsules which are gaining popularity in Singapore, it’s time to give it a try! Laundry capsules are unsung lifesavers for busy adults and newbies! They are super convenient and make doing the laundry easier than expected.

Recently, I got introduced to laundry capsules from Scrub.sg and each laundry capsule provides a concentrated and optimized cleaning efficiency, which leaves an amazing long-lasting fragrance on the clothes. Just a single capsule contains a pod of detergent, a pod of softener and a pod of stain remover which will suffice for my entire week’s load of laundry.

All you need to do is throw a capsule into the empty washing drum and let your trusty washing machine do the rest.

Do check out these laundry capsules as they are worth exploring for easier chore days! Interested to try them??

This year, my birthday fell a week before the Chinese New Year period... To be honest, I don't really like it as most of my friends including myself are busy doing spring-cleaning and preparations for the coming new year instead!

The five of us picked the Hainan Story for a meal, which is located at Hotel Boss as our meal gathering venue, and I appreciated it loads!

I had the Braised Pork Belly Curry Rice, while Chewyjas ordered the Chicken Drumstick Curry Rice, Meryl had the Fish Fillet Curry Rice, Ryden had Chicken Rice from Wee Nam Kee, and lastly, little Rena had Pumpkin Porridge.

We shared the Grilled Sambal Stingray and Satay among us!

Before we left the eatery place, we took our group photo at the STAR attraction of the pentagon platform located in the eatery place itself. This is popular photo-taking spot for every customer!

Thanks for the Strawberry Crepe Cake from Chewyjas!

After our dinner, we headed down to Smile Desserts to continue our date! We ordered one serving each of Strawberry Shaved Ice and Mochi Shaved Ice desserts for sharing!

Thanks for all the gifts that you guys have given to me and as well as for the love that was rendered to me!

My colleague, N introduced me to her favorite eatery place which serves awesome herbal soup and roast meat! You Kee XO Restaurant is a family-run establishment which has its origins from Johor Bahru. With the present travelling restrictions, you don't have to cross over the causeway to enjoy the yummy roast meat in Johor Bahru because it is now located at Joo Chiat Place.

We enjoyed the BBQ Pork Belly Char Siu the most. The caramelized meat had a perfect balance of juicy and slightly charred layers. It was one of the most delightful char siew we had tried. Their signature dishes include the Claypot Braised Eggplant.

There was no regret in making our way to Joo Chiat Place for dinner from home. We had a pleasurable experience at You Kee XO Restaurant, and the damage was affordable.

Baby and I spent our Sat-date at Tampopo which is located at Takashimaya Shopping Centre. This eatery place is well-known for their Kuro Buta, and we ordered Kuro Buta Ramen as our mains. The main agenda of making this visit was that Baby needed to renew his membership, and we were given a SGD30 welcome voucher to redeem within 60days. One of the benefits of being a Tampopo Member is that a SGD20 voucher will be given on the member's birthday month!

YAY! Feel like I am going to dine in Tampopo real soon...

After hearing many rave reviews for Deng Wen Ji Wanton Mee, I finally visited this place for Brekkie! It is located along Haig road, and both Baby and I love it very much to the point that we may replace this eatery place with our long-favorite Koung’s Wan Tan Mee real soon….

Throwback to a random weekend, where we drove to Joo Chiat Road for brekkie, we had the popular prata from Mr And Mrs Mohgan Super Crispy Prata. We waited more than 30mins for our orders to be ready!

Lastly, I end my post with my favorite drink - Hong Kong Style Milk Tea from Tsui Wah. I simply can’t get enough of it, as it tasted really smooth and refreshing!
