[ Dining indulgence] Kra Pow Thai Restaurant + Sweetea Caffe + Haute and Cauld

Both Baby and I love Thai food, and we are consistently trying to find new eatery places that serve authentic Thai fare. We really miss our trips to Bangkok and Phuket.

Recently, I got to know about this eatery place by chance and it's located at Chinatown Point. We visited the Kra Pow Thai Restaurant which is located in the mall itself. It offers a wide selection of authentic Thai Cuisine.

It is definitely a real hidden gem with really authentic Thai dishes, but the damage was pretty on the high side! We love their Tom Yum Seafood Soup and Prawn Cake!

Like I said previously, though travelling is now possible, it is still quite a hassle. Hence we’re glad to be able to taste authentic Thai cuisine right here without travelling out of Singapore. I hope this is a small compensation for better things to come soon!

Tracy organized a meal meet up with me and Sweetie as a welcome 2022 gathering. We settled our date at the Sweetea Caffe which is located at the heart of Chinatown.

Upon entering the premise, it gave me a strong ambience of an ancient Chinese inn.

We ordered the High Tea Set to share among us, and the set was served in a three-tiered white and gold stand. Apart from the set, we also ordered additional serving criss-cut potatoes.

We took photos of the alfresco area which boasts a gorgeous view of heritage buildings.

The damage was SGD20 per pax! It was a nice meet up! See you girls soon during the CNY period.

Baby prepared dinner for us when I was in the office, and he whipped up a simple dinner - Chicken Claypot Rice by using the Rice Cooker. The Rice Cooker was a gift from Chewy to us as a lovely house-warming gift!

Thanks for cooking, Baby  Appreciated loads!

It’s time for BBQ Session! We decided to have it at our balcony on a random weekend! We picked up some meat from Donki and a pack of Oden too.

We served up a hot pan of Oden, and we also added noodles and seaweed to the soup! We were glad that our BBQ turned up pretty great, as the meat was well-cooked.

We were glad that we picked up the Tefal - OptiGrill and the device kept our whole balcony grease and odor free! Most importantly,  Most importantly, it was easy to clean after the session! We enjoyed our BBQ dinner, and we will do it more often in the near future with our friends and family!

I end my post with my dessert from Haute and Cauld which is located along Bedok Reservoir Village.
