Dim Sum & Seafood Canapés Afternoon Set at JUMBO Seafood

Baby picked me up from work on a random mid-week, and we re-visited the Super Thai Singapore by Soi Aroy which is located at Upper Aljunied Road again. This eatery place is pretty near our residence, approximately less than 10-minute-drive away. They offer yummy and authentic Thai food at an affordable price.

It is definitely a real hidden gem for food lovers who are seeking authentic Thai dishes! I love the King Prawn with Vermicelli in Claypot and Tom Yum Seafood Soup very much!

We were at ION Orchard on a random Saturday afternoon, so Baby suggested to go for Dim Sum Afternoon Tea at JUMBO Seafood. We were so lucky to get a table without any reservation.

We started off our afternoon tea set with an aromatic pot of Wellness Tea - West Lake Dragon Well.

I love the Asian spin concept on the high tea tradition, and the Dim Sum & Seafood Canapés Afternoon Set comes in two tiers.

The top tier contains savory seafood canapés which consists of Chilli Crab Meat Sauce with Sliced Man Tou and Caviar, Scallop wrapped in Yam Ring and Seafood Bacon Roll Tossed with Salad Cream.

The lower tier contains Dim Sum delights and the Dessert Section had Baked Salted Egg Lava Mochi Pastry, Fried Lotus Paste Puff and Baked Teochew-Style Turnip Puff.

Completing the Dim Sum Afternoon Set are crowd-favorites Dim Sum item such as Steamed Prawns & Spinach Dumpling, Steamed ‘Char Siew’ Dumpling and Salted Egg Pine Nuts Cake which were served in a bamboo steamer.

We were given a refreshing dessert - Chilled Yam paste with Pumpkin to end our afternoon tea session!

I end my post with a sumptuous Thai Mookata dinner at Timbre+ Eastside which is located at Singapore Expo. Meryl joined us at the dinner. The damage was about SGD12 per pax, and it was pleasantly decent for the quality.

MOOKATA is AWESOME! I will be back soon for dinner again...
