Guinness LIVE at Firefly

Gathered a few of my good friends again to support our blogger friend, Yong Wei for his Guinness 'LIVE PK' at the Firefly at Marriott Hotel...

This time round, we were given the wrist bands... Can you spot my wrist?

Are you guys ready for Guinness LIVE? While waiting for the PK between Yong Wei & Si Ling to begin, let us enjoy our Guinness drinks first...

FINALLY, the moment has arrived... *Put our hands together to welcome Yong Wei*


Yong Wei sang pretty well as compared to the previous competitions. The way he arranged his songs was good too, however he tends to go out of key when entering the first verse of the song, but as a whole, he was doing fine...

His opponent that night was Si Ling... OMG! She sang really well, way better than some professional singers in the show biz. Her voice really made us ' WOW'


After 3 rounds of PK, Si Ling was the overall winner... Yong Wei did not win this round, as Si Ling beat him over by her distinctive loud and clear vocals.

Don't despair, Yong Wei... We are all behind you, you can make it next match!


Still can't leave my hands off the wrist band.... Hahaha!!

 Thanks Claressa for asking me along to join her for the preview screening of Planes at GV VivoCity.   --- Posters of Planes ---         I was thinking to myself during the show, has PIXAR run out of ideas to make a movie? This movie has all the hallmarks of a standard PIXAR movie, such as Cars/Wall-E/Toy Story, with the looks and graphics being the same.     The movie, Planes is a carbon copy of 'Cars' with both the films logo being similar. Oh well, seems like a rip off to me!       The film focuses on Dusty Crophopper (voiced by Dane Cook), an ambitious crop-dusting plane that predictably spends his days flying over tall grass spraying fertilizer. [Nights with Netflix] Screening of Next Gen

Thanks Hpility , for extending your invite to me to attend the 'Nights with Netflix' event. This event was to check out Netflix's Singapore office, as well as to catch a special preview of an awesome screening! photo credits to hpility.sg   Netflix Singapore's office is located at Marina One West Tower , and it looked splendid! How I wish I could work in such a wonderful environment! The pantry looks just like an eatery place, and was well stocked with drinks, snacks and even cup noodles!   Nextflix won the global rights to stream the movie 'Next Gen' , and this newly animated movIe debuts on the 7th of September 2018 .  'Next Gen' is a family-friendly movie with pretty good computer animated visuals for a non-Disney/ Pixar/ DreamWorks production.     This film, 'Next Gen' was based on a short online comic from the Chinese Multimedia Company 'Baozou' .
