Disneyland Paris - Parc Disneyland

Disneyland Paris is composed of two theme parks - Parc Disneyland and Walt Disney Studios. It is the largest Disney park based on the original in California.

Follow me to explore Parc Disneyland...

The park map lists forty-nine attractions in five themed 'lands' - Main Street, U.S.A., Frontierland, Fantasyland, Discoveryland and Adventureland...

~ A place where all fairy tales come true and magical moments live forever ~

~ Welcome to Disneyland Paris ~

Main Street, U.S.A. is the first 'themed land' nearest to the main entrance...

Sleeping Beauty Castle stands in the distance beyond the end of the street...

Meet 'n greet the Disney characters at Main Street, USA... The queue wasn't too long for us, probably because we came in pretty early...

SAY MICKEYYYY!!!

After meeting Mickey Mouse, we walked over to meet Goofy Father Christmas...

Goofy Father Christmas saying 'Hello' to everybody...

We did our usual cam-whoring while queue-ing to take pictures with Goofy...

Finally, our turn!!! We were on the christmas sledge with Goofy... That was awesome (:

Heading down to Fantasyland... The Sleeping Beauty Castle was behind us...

~ Les Voyages de Pinocchio ~

Les Voyages de Pinocchio is a dark ride, an adventure with Pinocchino in his exciting-filled quest to become a real boy.

~ Blanche Neige et les sept nains (Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs) ~

Beware of the Evil Queen!!!

Blanche Neige et les sept nains is a dark ride that brings us to the dark and scary forest with Snow White...

~ Peter Pan's Flight ~

Peter Pan's Flight is a suspended dark ride... I love this the most mainly because this ride is a suspended pirate ship and it flies off to an unforgettable journey to Never Land...

We didn't take the ride from Le Carrousel de Lancelot as it was for kids...

Jack & the Beanstalk - A classic fairy tale...

I love the mini foot stage design of Rapunzel (:

Latest attraction from Disneyland Paris - Princess Pavillion which was newly opened in Autumn 2011...

The queue was so horrendous that we only managed to get a picture with 'MULAN'...

~ Baby loves Toad of Toad Hall ~

Alice's Curious Labyrinth is a hedge maze attraction at the Parc Disneyland...The hedge maze is themed around scenes and characters from the Disney 1951 feature Alice in Wonderland. It comprises two sections: the first one with some of Alice's adventures prior to meeting the Queen of Hearts, and the second based on Alice's encounter with the Queen, who had a similar labyrinth in the film.

I love Cheshire Cat

Finally, we reached the Queen of Heart's Castle, and this enabled us to obtain an aerial view of the Fantasyland section of the park.

Do you find this seat familiar? YES, it belongs to the Queen from Alice in Wonderland...

Baby with the Mad Hatter's hat...

~ Proceeding to Discoveryland ~

Buzz Lightyear Laser Blast is a combination of a shooting gallery and a dark ride...

Basically the ride is to shoot the villain Zurg to gain more points and the ride can be rotated on it's base to 360 degree... This is a pretty addictive attraction...

Space Mountain: Mission 2A steel roller coaster-type attraction and it is the only Space Mountain to feature inversions and a section of the ride outside the mountain...

A 360 degree roller coaster in the dark...We couldn't see anything as the ride was moving at a super high speed... Screaming and yelling was ALL I DID when I was on the ride... Totally exciting!!

Star Tours is a motion simulator attraction with the Star Wars theme... This is a MUST for every fan, and this includes my Baby too...

Captain EO is a 3-D science fiction film starring Michael Jackson, this was shown at Disney theme parks from 1986 through the 1990s. The attraction returned to the Disney Parks in 2010, as a tribute after Jackson's death.

Baby is 'the' biggest fan of Michael Jackson, and he enjoyed the show very much...

We headed down to Adventureland, we are going for another round of thriller coaster rides! Challenge our guts with Indiana Jones et le Temple du Péril ia...

Based on the Indiana Jones films, we were taken on an adventure ride in a mine train through an ancient temple... The ride was pretty scary as it is a looping high speed roller coaster, but Baby enjoyed the ride sooooo much...

Pirates of the Caribbean is a log flume type of dark ride... During the course of the indoor boat ride, Baby & I experienced the larger-than-life pirate adventure featuring gunshots, cannon blasts, burning buildings, and carousing and pillaging pirates...  OMG!! I am impressed with the way the setting was set up... Simply remarkable and detailed!!

Phantom Manor shares the similar theme as all Haunted Mansion rides but it is designed to be scarier and darker than the other Haunted Mansion rides...

I love this haunted ride from Frontierland... The haunted house was pretty well set-up, some parts were pretty scary too...

Big Thunder Mountain is an indoor/outdoor runway mine train roller coaster... The queue was pretty long for this ride... Indeed, it's worth the wait, Totally thrilling to the MAX!

The fifth land - Frontierland concluded our day in Parc Disneyland and we left around 4pm as we need to cross over to another park - Walt Disney Studios... We were rushing for time cos Disneyland Paris closes at 7.30pm... Do stay tuned for my experience at Walt Disney Studios (:
