Disneyland Paris - Walt Disney Studios
Walt Disney Studios is the second theme park at Disneyland Paris...
Upon stepping into the Studio Park, I was greeted by this statue...
Walt Disney Studios is divided into 4 main Studio Lots, which consisted of Frontlot, Toon Studio, Production Courtyard and Backlot.
Along with the merchandising locations, we spotted some Disney characters... We managed to take pictures with Mickey Mouse & Pluto...
Entering Toon Studio, where the toons come alive...
Animagique - An adventure show about Disney Classics... Meet a host of Disney characters in a black-light show full of unforgetable Disney tunes.
We didn't take the ride from Les Tapis Volants - Flying Carpets over Agrabah as it was too kiddy for us... Hahaha!!
My favourite land in Walt Disney Studio Park - TOY STORY PLAYLAND, a gigantic world where we are the size of a toy...
The new Pixar themed area was bulit to help promote Toy Story 3. This playland's design is to 'shrink the guest' down to being the size of a toy, and to play in Andy's Backyard with his toys from the movies...
Toy Soldiers Parachute Drop
Toy Soldiers Parachute Drop is a parachute jump–style ride... Pretty fun, love the breath-taking scenery.. Beware of the height if you are suffering from Batophobia (fear of heights)...
This ride was hosted by Green Army Men
RC Racer is a steel shuttle roller coaster, that moves back and fro at dizzying speed... Think of the usual 'Vicking' boatride we normally take, minus the holding bar in the middle! CRAZY RIDE!!
Look at the track, it was so steep and tall... I screamed and yelled throughout the whole ride... To be honest, it was damn scary!!
~ Au Revoir Toon Studio ~
~ Bonjour Backlot - A place for action, excitement and special effects ~
Armageddon - Les Effets Spéciaux is to demonstrate set effects, as in the film. It is based on the 1998 Touchstone film, Armageddon.
Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith is an enclosed steel roller coaster ride. This was a thrill-packed loop-the-loop adventure ride... The coaster accelerates from 0 to 57 miles per hour in 2.8 seconds, the fastest ride at Disneyland Paris. There's no words which I can apyly use to describe my experience, but all I remember was that the initial blast off forced my head back, which should give you an idea on how fast the ride was!
Heading towards Production Courtyard... Do you guys spot the Hollywood Tower Hotel? Alot of strange things happened in that hotel... The story of the hotel was adapted from elements of the television series, 'The Twilight Zone' with the hotel being struck by lightning on October 31, 1939, mysteriously transporting an elevator cart full of passengers to the Twilight Zone and causing an entire wing of the building to disappear.
The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror is a drop tower thrill ride and the attraction takes place in the fictional Hollywood Tower Hotel
The exterior of the attraction resembles an old hotel...
BEWARE!!!
We were about to enter the thrilling elevator ride that plummets faster than the speed of gravity... This ride is really fun... Both Baby & I enjoyed it very much... My most unforgettable experience of the ride is when the elevator is pulled downwards, this sudden sharp plummet caused me to actually rise off my seat, Luckily I was held down only by a seat-belt.
The old looking Hollywood Tower Hotel looked even more eerie in the dark...
Lastly back to Toon Studio, as we didn't complete one of the attraction - Crush's Coaster, due to long queue (30mins)...
Crush's Coaster is a spinning roller coaster... 'Diving' into the ocean on a spinning turtle shell...
Took some random pictures of Walt Disney Studio Park by the night...
Monster Inc
Final pictures of the park before it was closed for the day...
Our loot from Disneyland Paris....
Baby got this for me, I can use it for short trips...
Disney Vinylmation - Vinyl collectibles sold at Disney theme parks... Vinylmation figures are sold in sealed packaging. The purchaser does not know which figure they are buying until they have opened it.
There were various series to choose from. Both Baby & I went for the series of Star Wars and Toy Story characters respectively...
Woohoo!! These were our 'blind' choice...
A trip down to Disneyland Paris marks my most memorial moment in Paris :) Disneyland Paris leaves me asking for more... I brought back so many wonderful memories from Disneyland Paris back to Singapore all thanks to my Baby who went to surprise me by buying the tickets discreetly online few days before our departure... I appreciate for all the things you have done for me... Je t'aime, Mon cherie - Baby (:
