Healthy dessert - Hong Kong iBean

Everybody is conscious about eating healthy, as our daily lifestyles are pretty hectic and we don't really have the habits of keeping a good diet...  Why not spare some time with your family or friends for some fast and delicious sweet Soya Beancurd...

I love gatherings, so Yong Wei gathered us together to have some desserts... We went to Golden Mile Food Centre, located at Beach Road area, there is a wide range of local cuisines including Chinese, Malay and Indian food. It is pretty crowded during the peak lunch and dinner hours...

We settled ourselves at Hong Kong iBean...

The family that runs 'Hong Kong iBean' had spent months trying to engineer the perfect modernized soya beancurd that will cater to all age of people.

From the conversation with Jacky, son of the Lady Boss of 'Hong Kong ibean', he told us his story behind 'Hong Kong ibean' and of course how he began this business. 5 months ago, Yvonne, the lady boss was seeking for the perfect soya beancurd before they started 'Hong Kong ibean'... Nothing ran smooth in the beginning, as Yvonne had to prepare the soya beancurd every single day and everybody in the family were just like guinea pigs trying out the best taste of the soya beancurd... The start of the business was not easy for them, but finally their hard work paid off well. Customers come back for more from time to time, and this hows the fruits of their labour everything seems worthwhile...

When they first started the business, they only came out with 3 flavors - Original, Almond and Durian... Today, there are 5 flavors to choose from the stall... (clockwise - Almond, Strawberry, Drurian, Green Tea & Original)... Each flavor bears its own individual significance taste... What I like about their soya beancurd is that they are all lightly sweet (best for me as I am not a sweet-tooth peson).

Jacky & Yvonne were so kind enough to pack extra portions for us, so that we can bring them home to let our family members try them too...

My parents enjoyed the Almond & Strawberry very much... They love the 'not-so-sweet' recipe of the soya beancurd, as old folks' taste buds are more sensitive towards strong flavors...

I personally like the original flavor, as everything starts from basic tastes. If the original tastes good, then I can safely say that other flavors will be as good too. I love the smooth texture of the beancurd, which melts in my mouth completely. My brother enjoyed the Durian flavor as he can really taste out the superb durian flavor yet it is not over-powering. As per Jacky, Durian soya beancurd is the best seller in the store, they often sell out within a day...

They will introduce more flavors in the near future, but right now, they want to concernate on these 5 flavors... 'Hong Kong ibean' opens daily from 9am-9.30pm and they offer the delivery with a minimum purchase of 30 bowl of beancurds.

Do 'LIKE' them on Facebook and try out their soya beancurd today...
