[Gala Opening Night] THE SOUND OF MUSIC

One of the world's best loved musicals, 'THE SOUND OF MUSIC' is back in Singapore again at the MasterCard Theatres, Marina Bay Sands. Due to popular demand, the show has had it's run extended till the 3rd of December 2017.

'THE SOUND OF MUSIC' tells the uplifting true story of Maria, the fun-loving governess who changes the lives of the widowed Captain von Trapp and his seven children by re-introducing them to music. This musical is family-friendly entertainment for all ages, and 'THE SOUND OF MUSIC' hits all the right notes!

I was there for the play back in 2014, and I still enjoyed myself as much as I did 3 years ago. 'THE SOUND OF MUSIC' still touches my heart although this was my second time watching this musical. I love some of the memorable songs that were performed at the Musical Theatre stage, such as Climb Ev'ry Mountain, Edelweiss, The Lonely Goatherd, and of course, the main song, The Sound of Music!

The coveted roles of six out of the seven children that form the Von Trapp family are played by eighteen of Singapore’s most able young actors and actresses. The kids are the soul of the show, which is perhaps the ultimate family musical. The Von Trapp children were cast extremely well, as the chemistry between the children and other actors on set was perfect, and the delivery of the lines and singing was done very well.

I highly recommend this stunning production, so do bring your loved ones and family to watch 'THE SOUND OF MUSIC', as I am sure that this iconic musical is sure to work magic on both the young and old alike. 'THE SOUND OF MUSIC' is definitely proven to be timeless to all audiences around the world, and is not to be missed. Tickets are priced from SGD65 and are now on sale!

Thanks Sliding Doors Entertainment for the invite, and I truly had an impressive indulgence feast on the gala opening night.
