[random] Peranakan buffet dinner + Avene Club Member
For our recent RKM's Fri-Date, I brought Baby to enjoy a night of Peranakan dinner spread at the Grand Pacific Hotel recently. I love spending quality time with him, and it was my way of thanking him for showering me with his love and care all these years. Long may it continue in the coming years!! I also wanted to thank him for being very supportive towards my social media lifestyle, and he is always there for me whenever I need him.
We made use of UOB's bank promotion for a 1-for-1 deal for our dinner. This is a good deal, as it helps us to recuperate on our expenditure on our recent USA Honeymoon and wedding, as well as to save up on future short trips!
I love the Laksa at the noodles station, as well as the Nonya
kuehs very much. The buffet spread selection was pretty decent for the
amount we paid, and the buffet dinner damage was only SGD55!
Saturday dinner at Chye Lye Curry Fish Head Restaurant! It is a popular eatery place located at Sembawang. From the restaurant's name, I
bet you can guess that the speciality dish is their Curry Fish Head!
We ordered a small portion of Curry Fish Head, which was good for serving 2 people, as well as a side dish of Luo Han Zhai. We had a delightful yet filling Sat-date dinner.
Friends who are close to me know that I am totally obsessed with earrings! Recently, I started a hobby of making 'DIY' earrings, which materials can be bought from Daiso! I got myself a pair of drop ring earrings, and they
looked lovely! I will make more clip earrings for my Mommy, as she does not
have any ear holes.

Thanks Dove for sending me 7-day trial of their
latest DermaSeries - Dry Skin Relief Body Wash (50ml). It really comes in handy to me, as my skin is rather sensitive. Recently, I developed a minor red rash after using a random body-care product. It took about a month for the rash to subside after seeing a doctor! Hence I'm quite particular about different body-care brands/products now. The latest DermaSeries is
suitable for sensitive skin.
Lastly, Leah, Jane and I met up our ex-colleague, Hnin who was recently back in SG for a visit. She headed back to her hometown, Yangon
after her resignation last year. We were so happy to catch up with her and her
lovable baby girl over a meal at Monster Curry which is located at Suntec
City.
I end my post with my weekend Hong Kong's styled brekkie at Toa
Payoh estate! It tasted pretty decent, but most importantly it is nostalgic and
affordable.
Oh yes, thanks for sending me the eye mask by Envie De Neuf via
snail mail. I really don’t know who is the sender, but thanks anyway for the
try out! Appreciate it much!
