[weekend staycation] 2D1N in KL

A weekend getaway to KL! Malaysia has always been a destination which I look forward to after a period of stressful work, as it is a nice and short way to recharge myself. We drove up on a Saturday morning at 5.30am, and we arrived at our destination at 10.30am.

We settled for KL-type Wanton Mee at 'Restoran Good Taste'! Apart from having Wanton Mee, we also shared a bowl of Curry 'Ju Pei'/Pork Skin among ourselves. The damage was affordable and comfortable for our pockets!

It's has been awhile since I went shopping with my Baby in KL, as during my few last trips, I always made it a point to meet my Malaysian Blogger friend, Shirley for a catch-up session. Baby 'complained' that I never spent time with him, so this time around I had to forgo my usual meet up with Shirley, and spent time with my Baby at Sunway Pyramid instead. Thankfully, he wanted to do some shopping too!

We stopped by to have our favorite Taiyaki at Danoshii to ease Baby's cravings for his favourite snack. Perhaps it's time to head back to Japan! I took a random OOTD while waiting for the snack to be served to us!

We also had some light bites at Honolulu Cafe, and we ordered the Chicken Pie and Bo Luo Bun. We enjoyed our short KL getaway!

I went to visit the mobile beauty truck from The Face Shop which was stationary outside Sunway Pyramid. Thanks for the beauty truck tour and the sample Kit!

We had a delightful time shopping at Sunway Pyramid, as every store is having 0% GST sales, and discounts in conjunction with the festive season’s celebration! I picked up some clothes from TerraNova and Padini Concept, as well as some earrings from Monki! I also got myself some beauty mask sheets from SASA and a make-up pouch from the 'Pink Panther X  Miniso' Series!

We had dinner with Uncle Mike and some KL relatives at Ric Sushi which is located at Kelab Golf Negara Subang (KGNS). It was a delightful dinner, and thanks for the lovely treat!

We had our lunch at 1-Utama, and we settled at this famous eatery place which offers authentic Penang cuisine.

I had some home-made Chwee Kueh before heading back to SG. We only made 1 stop for the entire journey from KL to Tuas checkpoint, in order to beat the Ramadan Jam. We reached SG at 8pm for dinner at Marsiling, and that concludes my weekend getaway to KL!
