Food tasting at CHOCOELF specialty Chocolate Café + Birthday celebration at knock Knock Café

Have you ever tried sugarless chocolates? One might think that this would be missing the point, but what if I told you that there is a chocolatier near Chinatown selling yummy and delicious chocolate-based desserts and assorted patisseries?

An award-winning chocolate brand which is established right here in Singapore, CHOCOELF is the joint creation of an experienced chocolatier and a medical doctor, both Singaporeans, who wish to share their unique Singapore-style chocolates.

All their chocolates are handmade by using a little sugar, or no sugar at all! There, the chocolate here is suitable for diabetic individuals or for those who are health conscious!

We went down to CHOCOELF specialty Chocolate Café as we had been hearing great things about this place. On entering the premises, it gave me a quaint and comfortable setting!

CHOCOELF chocolates are proudly made in Singapore and delivered fresh from a full-facility factory in Jurong.

We tried some of their fresh pralines, and chose 1) Kaya and Coconut, 2) Hazelnut and 3)Macadamia. These were scrumptious and not overly rich, yet still had that quality chocolate taste!

Thereafter, we had a Waffle with Strawberry Cheez Gelato for sharing. The waffle was light and fluffy, and paired well with the refreshing ice cream that had bits of strawberry in it!

For our drinks, I chose a Crafted Chocalate Drink and my baby took some tea. Overall I would say the vibe of the place was relaxing albeit small, and the chocolates and desserts match up with those that do use sugar.

Thanks for the kind hospitality and the warmest invite to us. We will definitely head back soon!!

CHOCOELF has always been making healthier chocolates using little or no sugar at all! Do visit CHOCOELF Specialty Chocolate Café at 232 South Bridge Road, S058781. (Nearest MRT Station: Chinatown).

HAPPY BIRTHDAY and many sweet returns to my lovely ChewyJas, enjoy your day!

A day before her actual birthday, Meryl and I arranged a dinner celebration for her at Knock Knock Café, which bears a floral-theme and serves Asian fusion cuisines.

We started off with Truffle Fries & Chicken Wings, and they and they were perfect snacks to begin our meal. Each of us ordered a main for ourselves, and we had Kelong Vongole with Spaghetti, 'Lup Cheong’ & Bacon Carbonara, Seafood Laksa Pasta and etc…

Thanks for the complimentary cake, and we had a wonderful time there as we chatted about everything everything under the sun. Meet-up soon, ya!
