KFC-themed multi-sensory installation at VivoCity + Sunday brunch at The Coffee Academic

KFC Singapore celebrated their 45th year in Singapore by having a KFC-themed multi-sensory installation over a 5 day period in July.

The installation was located at Vivocity, whereby entry was free. However, visitors were required to obtain queue numbers prior entering. A big shout-out to JSL for queuing at the installation in the morning to get the queue numbers for us to enter in the afternoon.

Every visitor was offered a chance at the KFC themed Gachapon machine to win enamel pins, stickers, or even KFC food vouchers to redeem menu items that are currently unavailable, such as the Zinger Double Down.

There was a kitchen section for us to take a peek on how the famous fried chicken is prepared in a KFC restaurant.

Thanks to my friends who joined me to this event. I appreciated that you guys took the time to join me at this event!

We were so lucky to be within the 4,500 visitor limit to the installation! We each received a voucher for a free two-piece chicken! I also took home some souvenir postcards with me that were complimentary.

Both Baby and I fell in love with the Hong Kong based Café - The Coffee Academicsand we settled for a lunch at Raffles City Shopping Centre outlet.

We ordered their Crispy-crusted Truffle Portobello Mushroom Pizza, Crab Pappardelle, and Crispy Fish Fillet Tacos to share between us.

The total damage was SGD66, which I felt that prices were slightly expensive as compared to the other cafes in town. The food was tasty, and portions were acceptable, so these factors made up for the hefty damage!
