About a couple of weeks ago, Microsoft announced their retail availability of the new Surface Pro 4 in Singapore, over a launch event at the MAD Museum of Art & Design which is located at Tanglin Road.
The Surface Pro 4 is a perfect device for people who need portability yet need a good performance at the same time.
The Surface Pro 4 features the new OS Window 10 Pro, and comes with a stunning 12.3 inches PixelSense Display that is merely 8.4mm thin. It is not only 30% percent more powerful than the previous Surface Pro 3 but it is also quieter and cooler, and lastly is more efficient with up to nine hours of battery life.
Being the newest product in the Surface line-up series, the Surface Pro 4 is the thinnest, lightest Surface Pro, and it is packed with more power and has a high performance!
I personally feel that it is a great device as it combines the portability of a tablet/laptop and the high performance of a desktop.
I was also in awe of the versatile laptop with Surface Pro 4 Type Cover, the newest keyboard cover that offers the most advanced surface typing experience. It is retailing at SGD199.
I was also glad to be able to experience the modern writing experience with the new Surface Pen during the launch. It allows us to write, draw or mark documents digitally while still retaining the feel of a normal pen on paper. It also comes with precision ink on one end and an eraser on the other.
The Microsoft Surface Pen with Pen Kit (SGD94) enables us to choose the tip that feels most natural or comfortable. It comes in 5 vibrant colors - charcoal, blue, sliver and red.
During the launch, there were some local creators who did some art and music demos via Surface Pro 4. They also shared with us on their experiences with using the Surface Pro 4.
The Surface Pro 4 is retailing at a price of SGD1399, and it is available across 4 authorised retailers including Challenger, Courts, Harvey Norman and Newstead across 70 stores.
