Kiehl’s first opened its door at Plaza Singapura on the 14th of November 2009, however due to the expansion plans of Plaza Singapura, Kiehl’s closed its doors in May 2012 to prepare for the move to the new wing of Plaza Singapura. Finally after 5 months, Kiehl’s is now ready to serve the community at the new location, #01-66 on the 29th October 2012.

Kiehl’s is proud to offer its cherished patrons a sensorial trip around the world through the introduction of its efficacious, scented body collection, Aromatic Blends. With each scented pairing, the Aromatic Blends take the customers on a wonderful journey to the source of Kiehl’s ingredients – the lush countryside of Provence, a desert oasis in Morocco, the dense jungle of Uganda and the tranquil gardens of Japan.

There are four collections in the Aromatic Blends series which come in fragrance, cleanser and body lotion, and each collection has a unique sourcing location or sourcing inspiration.

Kiehl’s chemists utilize only the finest ingredients, as they want to launch a fragrance mirrored to their authenticity. The fragrance captured the aroma of Provence and is intended to evoke or even create a memory for each Kiehl’s patron.

A basic aim for Kiehl’s is to source ingredients for its high quality preparations. Kiehl’s goal to always use the finest ingredients led the company to select this very special natural vanilla from the Uganda community. The Ugandan vanilla with its smooth, nearly smoky aroma is distinctive and rare and is a direct contrast to commonly and commercially used vanilla extract, which is more sweet and floral.

Kiehl’s puts in effort in sourcing the world over to find natural, yet efficacious ingredients, and the team was introduced to a unique orange blossom essence. This blend was so special and exceptionally fragrant because it was formulated using three different parts of the Bitter Orange Tree vs. the typical single orange essence. Kiehl’s always ensures the purest scent expression.

I was at Kiehl’s re-opening store located at Plaza Singapura last week… I was in awe by the new look, it looks really classy from the outside. The store was pretty prominent and I think the location is brilliant.

One of the exclusive features at the newly refurbished store would be its 5.4m high ceilings of framed photographs displayed to chronicle the long-standing history, heritage and spirit of Kiehl’s over the past 161 years! Lastly, the friendly skeleton, Mr. Bones, who always stands at the store entrance and greets every customer, represents Kiehl’s commitment to science and education and doubles up as an autograph-able medium for celebrities who proudly want to declare and spread their love for Kiehl’s.

I got to chance to receive my personalized notebook, all thanks to the Kiehl’s effort.

I was invited by Kiehl’s on an Aromatic House-Warming Journey in conjunction of the re-opening store at Plaza Singapura and the launch of the biggest body collection, AROMATIC BLENDS.

Congrats, Kiehl’s!! The respond was over-whelming at the re-opening party.

They offered some special blended cocktails for all invited guests…. Ooh!! I love the specially-blended cocktails.

A group of us (Sweetie, Hong Peng, William and yours truly) began our Aromatic Blend Pure Scent Journey. We first landed at Kyoto, Japan where the ingredients are found in the collection Nashi Blossom and Pink Grapefruit.

Lastly, back to the authenticity and peaceful countryside of Provence, if you love the calming and peaceful feeling, then Fig Leaf and Sage collection is the right choice.

I filled up the ‘Arrival Card’, as I had completed the Aromatic Blend Pure Scent Journey... After going through the 4 different scents, I personally feel that I like Nashi Blossom and Pink Grapefruit best.
