Jess Baby loves Korean Cuisine!!

Joo Mak Korean Restaurant is located at Beauty Word Centre, along Upper Bukit Timah Road, and it offers the best traditional Korean Cuisine.

I had a very good dinner on a random weekday at Joo Mak Korean Restaurant with my Baby. Though I have been to Beauty Word Centre several times but it is my first time dining in there.

The plentiful side dishes (Banchan) made me feel hungry though our main course was yet to be served.

We ordered the Military Stew aka Army Stew and shared it between the two of us as the portion is really large and it is good for 2-3 people or even for 4 persons for small eaters. It is our all-time favorite and it tasted delicious. Though the stew does come with noodles, but Baby still ordered an additional bowl of rice for his eating pleasure as he is a rice person. The damage was SGD31.

I love going for Korean Cuisine as the highlight of dining in a Korean restaurant is really the combination of the atmosphere and the companionship. Korean food is always best enjoyed with a group of friends, and that explains why Korean food is usually served in a big portion and with more people sharing, the cheaper the damage will be.

Korean Cuisine is so addictive as once you get hooked up, the taste will linger with you every now and then.

Staying healthy is our priority life, and therefore Baby and I decided to eat something healthy... YES!! We had SUBWAY for weekend lunch.

Recently, Baby read up one of the articles in Men’s Health Magazine regarding the collaboration between The Soup Spoon and Men’s Health Magazine to promote some healthy and nutritious soups.

Not too long ago, Baby ordered the Vietnamese bo kho-style stew, BO KHO WARROR, and I took a bit too. I love the soft and tender beef meat, apart from the meat, and it does contain some vegetables like white radish, carrots and potatoes. Guess what for the whole bowl of soup only contains 264 calories, and that is pretty low for a meal that will keep you full for the next 2-3 hrs plus...

I redeemed a trial kit at Lancome counter to try-out for the New Advanced GENIFIQUE through the Lancome FB fan-page. Thanks Lancome!!
