[Product Launch] Be SPECtacled with Dell

I was invited to enjoy a sumptuous brunch at Fine Palate Café, an Italian restaurant at Waterloo Street.

 

Dell revealed their latest product, Vostro 5460 and the new added features for the new Vostro series over the cozy brunch affair.

 

As usual, we took some photos before the meal commenced...

 

I had TWG English Breakfast Tea to start off my day at Dell’s event.

 

The product presentation was conducted while we were having our brunch, and the presentation gave very detailed specifications of the latest Vostro 5460.

  

The Vostro 5460 is equipped with a full-sized ‘Chiclet’ keyboard and a multi-touch gesture touchpad allowing users to fluidly navigate through the Windows 8 operating system. Heat dissipation design helps to ensure a cooler palm rest even after extension use.

 

 

Vostro 5460 is built thin but backed with powerful features, and it is truly a blend of ultra-mobility and ultra-productivity. It is 18.3mm thin and is alight-weight at 1.54kg for maximum portability.  

 

The 500GB HDD allows for plenty of documents and multimedia files to be stored and accessed on the go; and the 32GB SSD in the Ultrabook configuration delivers speedier performance and added storage. For added security of personal data and system files, the Ultrabook configuration also comes with Intel Anti-Theft Technology and Identity Protection Technology.

 

 

Mr Deepak Wagh, General Manager, Consumer and Small Business, Dell Singapore expressed his view on the new-refined Vostro series that the thin and ultra lightweight Dell Vostro 5460 offers users a much sought-after level of mobility, performance and support together with business-friendly features to enhance everyday productivity.

 

 

With an expansive 14-inch high definition widescreen LED (HD WLED) and TrueLife display that supports up to 1366 x 768 pixels. The new Vostro 5460 comes with integrated stereo speakers and a dedicated subwoofer powered by HD audio with Waves MaxxAudio 4.0. The external Subwoofer was in-built for an incredible sound experience and also gains better experience during video conference or video chat through noise cancellation technology. 

 

 

All these rich added new features are encased within a sleek brushed-aluminium chassis in graphite silver or fire red, and supported by a 3-cell integrated Lithium Ion battery providing up to 5 hours of battery life.

  I was glad to be given a chance to hands-on the latest baby from Dell, and I took a picture with the Vostro 5460 Ultrabook as well. 

 

Now, it’s time to go back to my sumptuous brunch that were specially prepared by the Fine Palate Café.

 

 

 

 

 

 

The starter for my brunch was Berry Bircher – Green apple, oat meal, black raisins, sour cream, summer berries and almond flakes.

 

My main course was the Fine Palate Cook Up! It was a pretty filling brunch with 2 Sunny-Up Eggs, Streaky Bacon, English Pork Sausage, Mushrooms, Vine Cherry Tomatoes, Hash Brown and Toast.

 

We rounded up our weekend brunch with yummy dessert

 

We were rendered with a box of macaron by Renowned Parisian Macaron Maker, Ladurée before the event ended.

 

I was so happy that I could try out the famous macarons from Ladurée, and each iconic macaron tasted delicious. Lastly, thanks for the invite and kind hospitality!!
