[penang trip] George Town + food gem

The Lithuanian-born artist, Ernest Zacharevic left his mark in Penang with all his beautiful wall paintings over George Town . Penang Street Art has been an appealing highlight for all tourists from all around the world.  George Town, Penang has therefore developed into a vibrant street art area and scene! Boy on Chair I love these fortune cats! The street art includes metal sculpture as well, and these are made of steel rods   Little children on a Bicycle Uncle Mike got us tickets to Khoo Kongsi Temple which is located in Cannon Square in the heart of the oldest part of the city of George Town . It is a large Chinese clan-house with a highly decorated with ancient  Chinese ornaments, and this marks the dominant presence of Chinese culture in Penang .   The famous Khoo Kongsi is the grandest clan temple in the country...

Cafe-hopping + Jess Baby and friends

Joanne and I got an invitation from OSG Bar to be part of the Beta Testing Program and do a Beta Preview of the place. We were given a glass of complimentary cocktail once we arrived and were seated.   Chloe joined us and we had a fun after-work girls' chat at OSG Bar .       TGIF! We re-visited Antoinette for some quality time spent, and we went to the outlet at Penhas Road which is pretty near my place.     As usual, I still love their ambience which bears a contemporary Victorian-style setting.   We ordered 2 pieces of cakes and 2 pots of tea which came to a bill of SGD43. The damage was pretty hefty! Oh well, I think the ambience comes with a price tag too, I suppose.   Yay, I had another café-hopping experience within the same week!     I wore the flowery top which was a gift from Jasmine, as she just came back from her M'sia trip.     In case, ...
