Dim Sum Lunch at Min Jiang Restaurant - Goodwood Park Hotel + Doraemon's Time-Travelling Adventures at National Museum of Singapore

On leave mood - ‘SHIOK’

Both Baby and I took a day off on Monday to spend a well-deserved afternoon at Min Jiang Restaurant at Goodwood Park Hotel together.

Baby loves to eat Dim Sum, and I decided to give this eatery place a try! We had the Min Jiang Land and Sea Quartet which consists of Steamed Prawn and Carrot and Carrot ‘Rabbit’ Dumpling, Deep-fried BBQ Pork and Pine Nuts in Glutinous ‘Carrot’ Pastry, Steamed Squid in 'Sea Cucumber' Dumpling and Steamed Prawn and Chinese Stem Lettuce with Tobiko ‘Starfish’ Dumpling.

This handcrafted platter was exquisitely done, and my favorite was the Steamed Prawn and Chinese and Chinese Stem Lettuce with Tobiko ‘Starfish’ Dumpling.

Apart from Min Jiang's Land and Sea Quartet, we also had Steamed Pork Spare Ribs, and Deep Fried Prawn Dumpling, which tasted awesomely good! They were my favorite items out of the eatery that we had ordered!

We also ordered more dim sum items- Cheong Fun, Pan-fried Turnip Cake, BBQ Pork Bun, Glutinous Rice and Mini Egg Tarts. Thanks Baby for the lovely treat!

I visited Doraemon's Time-Travelling Adventures at National Museum of Singapore. Doraemon is one of my favorite childhood Japanese cartoon characters, and I was excited to step into the 'Anywhere Door' exhibit which had me embarking on a time-travelling journey with the adorable Doraemon!

I took many random photos against various Doraemon statues which are presently displayed on the National Museum’s front lawn!

If you are a fan of Doraemon, then don't procrastinate anymore! Make a trip down before it's gone. The exhibition will be running from now till the 27 December 2020. It is free admission for Singaporean and PRs.

Baby and I love Thai food, and one of our favorite eatery places is JJ Thai Cuisine, which is located right opposite Sembawang Shopping Centre. We went there for our dinner on a random weekend. We simply love the wide selection of Thai food that JJ Thai Cuisine offers!

We ordered our usual favorites such as Homemade Thai Prawn Cake, Seafood Tom Yum (Thick Version), Fried Olive Rice and Phad Thai. The damage was SGD40+, and we will definitely be back again!

I end my post with a recent OOTD on a random Saturday at Bugis Junction!
