[random] Happy Weekends!

Happy weekdays!

Emerald Hill is one of the more conservative areas in Singapore, and used to be home to the wealthy Peranakan Community. It is also one of the most colorful streets in Singapore and the classic shophouse location has become one of my favorite places places for a nice OOTD.

Baby and I revisited the famous Hong Kong Cha Chan Teng, Honolulu Café which is located at Centrepoint. We had our Sunday Brunch and I personally still feel that it was overrated. To be honest, I was already dismissive of the place when we first visited the original café in Hong Kong. Unfortunately, I think the Singaporean branch is cut from the same cloth, as service was meh and the food was mediocre at best. The other Hong Kong cafes based in Singapore seem to be better in my humble opinion, but my baby seems to like this place so I humored him.

The bonus thing for me is that I really love their egg tarts. They were delicious!

Friday dinner date with my Baby at Le Shrimp, Paragon. We started off with our favorite appetiser - Chilled Silken Cold Tofu with Century Egg.

As for our mains, we both loved the seafood-packed flavored broth. The damage was about SGD50+.

Baby suggested having our weekend dinner at Sun Plaza, Sembawang, and we settled at White Restaurant for my favorite 'Signature White Mee Hoon'I love the White Mee Hoon, as it was cooked to perfection, and was not too overly soft. The broth was flavorful and the overall taste was awesome. Apart from the White Mee Hoon, we also ordered Chinese Sausage Omelette and Steamed Clams with Chilli. The damage was about SGD32.

I end my post with my after-run photos with my running buddies/colleagues! We had been actively going for our evening run after work twice a week!

Lastly, thanks Bober Tea for the BBT treat! I enjoyed the drinks very much...
