Authentic Italian Cuisine - Mondo Mio

We went for our dinner before heading down to DKNY Fashion Party, and we settled for Mondo Mio which is located along the Robertson Quay, the trendiest riverwalk in Singapore which has become a favourite leisure and nightlife destination for the locals and expats. Mondo Mio Italian Restaurant is a very popular eatery that has built a sound reputation islandwide not only for a unique selection of crispy thin-crust Italian pizzas baked to perfection prior to delivery but also for an unbeaten variety of daily fresh Italian gourmet delights. Preserved Olives were given to us a house appetizer... Taste kinda funny but not yucky.Casual dining place and the atmosphere is pretty laid back. Alfresco dining areas are available too... The friendly service is an added bonus for our dining experience. Mondo Mio is a great place for Italian cuisine and nice place for gathering, however the prices are slightly on the higher side.

Welcome drinks (2 glasses of white wine) were served to us upon ordering...We ordered Pane Casereccio (Basket of assorted home-baked bread) Taste really good with olive oil and vinegar... Simple yet bring out the authentic flavour of Italian cuisine... Baby ordered Pappardelle, caslinghe alla Cernia con Vongole, Melanzane e Pomodorini (Bay prawns, baby clams, freshly dice eggplants and cherry tomatoes with home-made egg-based flat pasta in the signature white wine seafood sauce).
I had Pasta all' Amatriciana (Linguine served in slightly spicy tomato sauce flavoured with thinly sliced onions and bacons). Taste extremely delicious and sauce blended perfectly well with the pasta and I really love my main course!!!

Our damage was SGD60... Italian Cuisine is Baby's all time favourite :)
