Weekend Dim Sum Lunch

Baby & I arranged a lunchie date with each other on a random weekend... We met up each other @ Centrepoint... But we settled down @ Victoria Peak Chinese Cuisine which was a impromptu decision... ~ Appetizer ~

This is our fave haunt for Dim Sum as the cost is pretty value for money... 30% for all Dim Sum orders before 3pm... We ordered :-

The filling for the Siew Mai was pretty tasty and juicy. The dough was soft for the Char Siew Bao and that was an added bonus as the filling is great.

Scallop Rice Roll was pretty normal, nothing to shout about... But the soy sauce made up for it.

Pan-Fried Onion Pancake was pretty disappointing, the skin of the pancake was hard, kinda over-cooked. Ironically that this dish was touted as their signature order, but the quality is below standard. Pan-Fried Glutinous Rice tasted really good... I enjoyed every bit of it. Worth my thumbs up!

Fresh Scallops wrapped in translucent skin, taste okay but nothing to shout about either.

We were both pretty satisfied with the food... Most of all, the staff are very attentive. The damage was SGD29 (after 30% disc).

Situated on the rooftop of Orchard Central... Hong Kong's Victoria Peak Restaurant is a multi-award winner at international gourmet events. This is its first establishment in Singapore. With a strong foundation built on authentic Chinese culinary traditions together with a selection of the best ingredients from all over the world, Victoria Peak is today a trend-setter in Asian cuisine.
