新加坡e乐大赏2011
A handful of bloggers have been invited to attend the Singapore Entertainment Awards 2011 @ Singapore Indoor Stadium... I was one of the handful bloggers to be selected by OMY.sg The event was hosted by Radio 100.3 DJs - Ah Ken, Ah Dong, Wenhong, Jianwen & Xiaozhu.
Before the opening of the award ceremony... The stars walked down the red carpet to the centre stage... All the fans went insane for a minute when their fave artistes walked past the crowd to the stage.
Are you ready for the Singapore Entertainment Awards 2011? The reason is very obvious for the people in the house... Haha! This shows where I was sitting during the event... YES, I sat pretty near to the stage! Gosh! I sat dang near to the crew who were controlling the sound, screen & lighting effects for the whole events.
Alien Huang has a stage name as Xiao Gui (小鬼) and is a Taiwanese singer, actor, and host. He was part of Japanese TV Asahi's disbanded boy band HC3 in 2002 and Taiwan's disbanded boy band Cosmo in 2003. He is best known as a host of GTV's 100% Entertainment (娛樂百分百).. A popular Taiwanese variety entertainment show that he cohosts with fellow Mandopop artist Show Luo.
Se7en, is a South Korean pop/R&B singer. He began training under a management agency YG Entertainment at the age of fifteen. After four years of training in voice and dance, he made his debut in 2003.
Awesome performance by Se7en. His dance moves made me wanna dance too... Hahaha!
Anthony Neely is a Taiwanese American Mandopop singer of mixed ethnicity. His father is American and his mother is Taiwanese. Still drooling over him... Hahaha! Being a newcomer himself, I can see that he really put in alot of effort in singing for his career and that is really impressive. Kit Chan was a member of the pioneer generation of Singaporean singers to successfully break into the international market, marked in particular by her breakthrough into the competitive and highly critical Taiwanese market with her hit Mandarin album Heartache - 心痛 in 1994. Fluent in both Mandarin and Cantonese, she is the first Singaporean singer to break into the Hong Kong Cantopop market and the Taiwanese Mandopop markets. She was also the first local pop singer to have been selected to sing the National Day theme song.
When Kit Chan started to sing her popular hits like '心痛', '喜欢你' & '炫耀'... The familiar tunes brought back alot of old memories... A sweet nostalgic night for me! Local artistes like Freshman, Serene Koong & Kewei together with dayDream from Malaysia.... They performed a medley of songs produced by our local song writers... Interesting segment, indeed! 黃靖倫 is a Taiwan-based Singaporean singer and actor. I was kinda of disappointed cos he did not sing my fave song - '心碎雨'... But he sang '月光' instead... No worries! I started to like that song since that day... Hahaha! 何維健 is a fast-rising Singaporean idol singer who took a break from the entertainment industry for two years to serve in national service. In 2008, he returned with his debut album - 無法歸類. Derrick Hoh performed his dance moves while singing his latest single - 当我知道你们相爱... I was thrilled when he chosen this song for his performance... This song required some dancing, it affected his vocals though, his voice was shaking while he was dancing at the same time and his tones were slightly off... Think, this shows that he really needs alot of training to build up his inner strength in order to stabilise his vocal.
Newly formed Mandopop boy band SIGMA. The latest group, consisting of Judy Chou and two debut artists Mrtting Li and Tommy Lin... The trio went to South Korea to learn the ropes of boy band stardom. The name SIGMA was chosen from the Greek letter ∑ since it represents the meaning of “synergy”, and the members hope to combine their music, dancing, and aspirations to be a huge force in Taiwan’s Mandopop music industry.
I am impressed with Judy Chou's vocal and dance moves... SIGMA is a male version of S.H.E, 'LONG LIVE' SIGMA!!!
Lollipop F (previously known as Lollipop 棒棒堂) is a Taiwanese Mandopop boyband. The group used to consists of six members. On the 13/Oct 2010, The group name has been changed to 'Lollipop F' instead of 'Lollipop' which F represents four, the number of members in their group and also represents Forever.
The group has potential, but I personal feel they resemble to another mandopop group called ENERGY.
S.H.E is a Taiwanese girl group whose members are Selina Jen, Hebe Tien, and Ella Chen. The name of the group is the first alphabet derived from the first letter of each member's name. Ella attended the awards ceremony alone due to Selina & Hebe not being able to make it for this ceremony. Ella represented S.H.E to receive the awards... The scene was kinda sweet and warm-hearted, when Ella joined her fanclub members for the sing-a-long session. It is so touching to know that her fans still supporting them after all these years... S.H.E is divine! Each and everyone of us were given a 'HAND-SHAPED' card which printed all the artistes who will be performed during the ceremony...
