Loving Marina Bay 2012 + Wine Fiesta 2012

Marina Bay is located at the heart of Singapore’s city centre, where people from all walks of life come together to live, work and play. Heritage is very much a part of the precinct’s foundation, captured in key historical landmarks such as Merlion Park and Collyer Quay.

Photography exhibition showcases the different facets of the Marina Bay precinct through over 100 enthralling photos taken by 20 featured AmBAYssadors made up of Singapore’s popular bloggers and photographers.

For the month of November, LOVING MARINA BAY 2012 comes out with a full of exciting activities such as heritage walks and photography workshops led by the AmBAYssadors.

I was invited to attend the Exhibition Launch x AmBAYssadors Appreciation Reception at Sansui Sumiyaki & Bar (One Fullerton) and the Wine Fiesta 2012 after that.

We had some refreshments before the presentation commencing...

Short speech by Ms Fun Siew Leng, Group director (Urban Planning & Design) and the next segment was the presentation of a token of appreciation to 20 featured AmBAYssadors.

We walked down to Clifford Square (former Clifford Pier) for the photography exhibition, and we met up 'long-time-no-see', Yong Wei. He looks slightly skinner before he enlisted.

Arrgh!! Yong Wei, you BENT the bench!!!

We took some photos against the LOVING MARINA BAY photo-wall that had a very nice background (MBS signature building). Thanks for making a great day for me, pals (Jasmine, Andrew, Terence and Yong Wei)!!

Love is sharing, so folks start to spread your love globally. Pen down a message for your family/friends on the Love Notes postcard, and drop it into the red pillar post boxes at The Fullerton Hotel Singapore by 03 December 2012. Once the card has been deposited into the post-box, your message will be spread to anywhere in the world for you. A total of 6 different designs to collect!

Experience Marina Bay through the exciting series of activities lined up for the entire month of November.

Visit www.marina-bay.sg/lovingmb for more information.

We headed down to the Wine Fiesta 2012 at Custom House Pavilion.

The Singapore Wine Fiesta 2012 is back for its 5th time this year, and it features over 60 producers and winemakers with over 250 stunning wines from all parts of the world. It is an event for everyone as the fiesta is about exploring, discovering and connecting with those behind the labels.

Dessert wine, Moscato d’Asti is produced in Italy and it caught our attention!! It bears a moderately sweet, fragrant, lightly sparkling and light in alcohol. It was selling only at SGD26 during the wine fair, so Auntie Terence picked a bottle up for his drinking pleasure.
