Gustav Klimt (July/14, 1862 – February/6, 1918) was an Austrian Symbolist Painter. As a pioneer in the Art Noveau scene in the 19th century, Gustav Klimt was known for his mosaic-like paintings.

This year would have been his 150th birthday, and FREY WILLE will honor the legendary artist with a special celebratory event where they will showcase pieces from the Hommage à Gustav Klimt collection. This collection comprises of designs from 1998 which take inspiration from many of Klimt's most famous paintings.

FREY WILLE threw a party at their retail boutique located at Marina Bay Sands to celebrate Gustav Klimt's 150th birthday. I was lucky to attend this invite-only party where the best of Viennese music and food were rendered to us, as well as seeing the entire FREY WILLE Hommage à Gustav Klimt collection up close and personal.

I had an enjoyable evening in art with VienneseFlair…

We were given a pure silk scarf from FREY WILLE as a token of appreciation. A perfect accessories to add touch elegance to any outfit this season.
