(Bloggers' Event) Freshel By Kanebo

I attended the Freshel Kanebo Bloggers' Event... It was a lovely invitation by Pearlyn Tan, and I extended the invite to Wendy.

The event took place at a lovely pub, Drink Culture along Kreta Ayer Road...

The interior really impressed me, it gave a very calm and comfy feeling...
Freshel by Kanebo supports women in their 30’s and 40’s who are busy but wish to stay beautiful at all times. The Moist Lift line provides immediate as well as luxurious moisturization, while WHITE C line provides immediate brightening effect. Both line have a fast-acting, penetrating effect. We were fortunate to witness the BB Cream - White C W Cream UV & Moist Lift W Cream.

~ The full range of Moist Lift & White C were placed on the table for free try outs ~

Mingling around with pretty bloggers before the presentation starts... Nice knowing Jermaine & Vivian :)

I checked out the Moist Lift W BB Cream...

The texture was smooth, water-based and glides well on skin and pretty good coverage

White C Whitening Milk (L) is very light-weight, and I love the smell.

Enjoying the Grey Cooler, a refreshing and citrus drink...
The presentation started with an entertaining skit about the importance of whitening and keeping your skin hydrated the whole day... That was a pretty clever move and this skit really left a deep impression in me...

Mr Roddy Gan shared with us some tips on the scientific truth of each ingredient behind skincare products...

Seeing is believing, so Mr Gan carried out the 3 experiments

Experiment 01 - Freshel Cleansing oil
Pump some Freshel cleansing oil into water...

Keep stirring the mixture in the beaker... The texture turned into a milky form as the cleansing oil is water loving...

The XYZ cleaning oil still floated on the water and it doesn't mix with the water at all, thus this will clog pores and make the face became oilier.

Experiment 02 - Moist Lift Moisture Soap

As we are outside normally in the day, we will produce sweat and sebum ... The second of the experiment is to let us find out the importance of cleansing the face, as this is an initial step for all skincare regime...
Sodium (salt) was added into the Moisture Soap... It dissolves well in the facial wash and left no residue but only bubbles due to excessive stirring the mixture in the beaker...

Look at the XYZ facial wash after addition of some salt, it became very foamy...

After sometime, the XYZ wash became hard like a pudding substance which will bring harm to our face after a period a time, as for the Moist Lift Moisture Soap remain the same texture...

Lastly, the third L. Ascorbic Demo, to show Vitamin C is one of the active ingredients in White C products.

2 drops of iodine (acts like a dark spot) was dropped on a white sheet of paper (acting as our face).

As time passed, the 'dark spot' became very dark...

1 drop of L. Ascorbic was dropped on the dark patch... the spot turned white instantly, is it magical?

Light refreshment was served after the experiment demo.

I bag-ged home a BB Cream, Cleansing Oil and 3 pieces White C range...

~ 2 major items received ~

White C Cleansing Oil enriched with olive oil that melts the make-up
I was given as well as Moist Lift W Cream with SPF23 PA++ This BB cream contains Hyaluronic acid for skin hydration, provides intensive moisture and care to the skin.

3 pcs deluxe-sized samples for the White C range....
