Eco Music Challenge Season 1 Showcase

A handful of bloggers have been invited to attend the Eco Music Challenge Season 1 Showcase at Timbre. I was one of the bloggers to be selected by OMY.sg

Upon stepping in Timbre, it gave me a feeling of nature, where one of the reasons is that this place is covered with a lot of trees and bushes. Truly a eco-friendly and relaxing place to chill with friends...

The host of this event is Dasmond Koh... A jovial host indeed! Stage games were conducted during the showcase...

Mini light refreshment buffet was provided during the showcase and each of the invitee was given a drink coupon to redeem...

Baby & I got ourselves a bottle Heineken each...

Yummy foodies for all the guests in the house... Nom Nom!!!
I love the chicken wings loads!
During the event, selected finalists of Eco Music Challenge Season 1 gathered together to perform their work ‘LIVE on stage...

The songs which had been selected from Eco Music Challenge Season 1 Showcase were amazing and the performers were great too... Nothing beats awesome music and raising awareness for our environment...

Guest singer, Jill-Marie Thomas - OMG! (One Minute of Glory)'s winner

Inch Chua is one of Singapore's most prominent indie singer-songwriter, as well as the first Singapore female singer-songwriter to be invited to the prestigious South by Southwest (SXSW) music festival in March 2010. She has won the Best Pop Act Award in the 2010 AVIMA Music Awards in May 2010.

National Environment Agency (NEA) is running the second season of Eco Music Challenge after the great success during its first season last year... If you have a passion for music, do take part in the Eco Music Challenge and show some love for our environment... A clean and green world begins with your song! A definitely a breakthrough event for creating the awareness for the environment...

What is Eco Music Challenge?

Eco Music Challenge is an online song-writing competition organised by the National Environment Agency (NEA) for talented and passionate individuals to express their appreciation and support for our beautiful environment through music. Participants can get a shot at fame as they sing and write their way to a cleaner, greener Singapore!

The top 10 finalists will also be selected for a special mentorship programme with Singapore's veteran composer, Clement Chow, Timbre Music Academy's Sara Wee and Mang Irama Dusqie, as well as Intune Music School's Aaron Lim and Peng Chi Sheng!

The finalists will then pit their skills at the finale concert held on 27 August 2011 and the winning song will be selected as the official Clean & Green Singapore song for 2011, with over S$14,000 worth of prizes to be won in total!

Sound interesting...

I had the pleasure of attending this good cause event all thanks to OMY.sg and National Environment Agency (NEA).
