Private Screening of SCRUM!

SCRUM! is a light-hearted drama about the life of the passionate rugby campus team.

I was part of the Private Screening of SCRUM! which was held at Sheraton Towers Singapore Ballroom all thanks to Sweetie who extended her invitation to me.

The host of the night was Jeff from Y.E.S 933FM.

Apart from the premiere screening, there was a meet and greet session with the casts and the characters that they play in the drama, as well as sharing some stories and behind the scene bloopers with us...

The main casts (from left to right) Carrie Wong, Jae Liew, Jeffrey Xu, Felicia Chin, Chris Lee and Allen Chen.

The jovial Rugby Boys.

Jeffrey Xu sang us the theme song before the premiere screening kicked off.

Story outline:
Greenwood Polytechnic's Black Rhino Rugby Team used to be champions, but the standard of the current team deteriorated as many of their senior and elite players have already graduated and left the school and the team. Though they have lost 48 matches but yet they did not give up on their common dream. I love the 'never say die' fighting spirit and hold on to the day of success.

After watching the first episode of SCRUM!, during the Premiere Screening, it was pretty entertaining and hilarious and my favorite character is Huang Zhao Nan (starring Felicia Chin) and the over-aged poly student, Li Yong Chun (played by Chris Lee) who is an undercover agent from Interpol.

SCRUM! is Felicia's comeback drama after she quits her studies, and it was an eye-opener to see a different her in this new drama. She is no longer a demure and sweet lady but to my surprise, she turned herself into a hot-tempered and fierce coach.

We ended our night with a photo opportunity with the cast onstage

SCRUM! premieres on Channel U from 26 Feb 2014, Wednesday to Friday at 8pm
