There is a new integrated classic amusement centre & VR arcade in town!



The New World Carnival has now officially opened its flagship outlet at Marina Square Mall, which is located at the 2nd floor, opposite Pororo Park!



Arcade centres are making a comeback to Singapore. Now they are the new 'theme parks' that attract both the young and the old.



On your visit here, I suggesting starting off with skill based redemption games! These are similar to the types of games you can find at any funfair or carnival. If you obtain the minimum number of points required, you will get additional bonus tickets. It's a no-brainer if you are good at these games, as you might find yourself winning tons of tickets from these machines!


Beware: They can be pretty addictive!





The main bonus of redemption games are these paper tickets, as you will be delighted when seeing the tickets churning out from the machines. These tickets can be exchanged for prizes!



Remember to get a New World Carnival Card for storing your credits in order to play these redemption games!




Apart from the arcade games, there are plenty of Claw Machines at the premises! I love these claw machines as I sometimes can catch plushies at minimal damage!








I managed to get a cute sheep bag charm from one of the mini machines.








The highlight of New World Carnival are the VR games that are on offer. There are over 12 varieties of these VR games, which feature horror, racing, shooting and an escape room theme! Gameplay in the Virtual Room is unbelievably realistic and immersive, thanks to the use of high-end devices


While most of the VR games allow gameplay for just one player, at the New Word Carnival, you can teams of up to four people can play together for a great bonding experience!


New World Carnival blends the old school Escape Room concept with a full 3D cinematic experience, and this delivers an immersive and mind-blowing adventure! It can be played in groups of 2, where you will find yourself in a virtual world where you have to walk around and find clues to assist in your escape!
