Lunar New Year is celebrated widely by the Chinese all over the world, as it marks a fresh annual start! To usher in this Year of the Snake, we picked up a potted plant for good luck!   During covid19 restrictions, we were required to cut down on house visiting. Now, my parents decided not to do it anymore, even though the restrictions have been lifted. Therefore, we kept the CNY celebration to just within our family on the first day of CNY. A few days ago, I was invited by Clover Films to the Red Carpet session and Gala Premiere of the movie  'Let's Eat', which is premiering on the 5th of February, 2016. The premiere date of 'Let's Eat' is set 2 days before the eve of CNY, which will gives big more choices and selections for the upcoming CNY line-up movies to viewers!   Well-known Singaporean comedians, Henry Thia, Mark Lee, and as well as Fiona Sit, actress-singer from Hong Kong appear as cameos in the movie.   'Let's Eat' is directed by Asia's most popular comedian, Chapman To, and the movie plot is about the Ah Yong Café, a reputable café which is famous for their Hainanese Chicken Rice which has been drawing a regular crowd for years. I have always loved to watch Hong Kong TVB dramas and serials since I am a teenager, and I remembered being hooked on a particular series named 澳门街 , which starred Julian Cheung and Charmaine Sheh . I am glad that the sequel was released on the big screen instead of being made into a new drama series.   Return of the Cuckoo is based on the well-loved HKG drama of the same name, which was broadcasted way back in 2000. The movie continues the story from where the drama left off.     I was glad to be invited by Clover Films to attend the Red Carpet Session as well as the Gala Premiere of the Return of the Cuckoo . A week ago, I was invited by Clover Films to the Gala Premiere of ' Bring Back The Dead' which will be screened in theatres on the 8th January 2015.   We were located at the second row of GV MAX, VivoCity , and I had a clear view of the main cast and director, however, this also meant that I had a front view of the huge screen which, being a horror movie, ensured I had lots of up close and personal scares, and I foresaw myself being freaked out by the movie.       Bring Back The Dead has a touching storyline that will be able to touch many hearts of many mothers, as losing someone dearly in your life is heart-breaking which everyone can relate to easily.         The casts shared their thoughts of accepting the roles in the movie.
