Daisy Marc Jacobs x Takashi Murakami pop-up + Chewy's Birthday Celebration

Image
I visited the limited time Daisy Marc Jacobs x Takashi Murakami pop-up which is located at 265 Beach Road , and this immersive experience celebrates the cult-favorite Daisy fragrance line by American fashion designer Marc Jacobs with the smiley-flower universe of Japanese contemporary artist Takashi Murakami. There were four vibrant, colour-coded zones that turned the fragrance discovery into a larger-than-life sensory adventure. During the event, I picked up the Daisy Marc Jacobs Murakami fragrance (blue) , and I received tons of freebies which came with my purchase. There was an umbrella, charms, Marc Jacobs parfum vials, scented candles and many more! It’s not easy to find an affordable yet delicious high tea in Singapore these days, and I was glad that I got a 1-for-1 High Tea at the  Crossroads Bar at Paradox Singapore. Both Meryl and I decided to celebrate Chewy’s birthday over the afternoon tea session.  This Afternoon Tea Set for 2 might look a little lacking, but ...

[Jan Babies] Birthday Celebration at Sen-ryo

Both N & I had a mini birthday celebration together, as we are Jan Babies! We had our Omakase dinner date at Sen-ryo which is located at Suntec City . This eatery place offers high quality and legit Japanese fare. We began our omakase dinner with five seasonal appetisers, each offering a unique taste of the season's finest ingredients. Each bite was a delicate balance of flavours and textures, setting the stage for what was to come. The Sashimi course was delightful, and it showcased an impressive array of freshly imported seafood from Japan. I truly enjoyed the freshness of the ingredients which were coupled with an amazing presentation of the food by the chefs. Hotate with Truffle  Uni with Negitoro Handroll  - my personal favourite! I love my Omakase dinner at Sen-ryo . The cost was affordable and the food served was so FRESH! To conclude this exquisite meal, Mizu Shingen Mochi (Raindrop Cake) was served. This simple but refreshing water-based dessert is perfect...

I am huge fan of the half fish - half man Sanrio cartoon character Hangyodon , so my closest girlfriends made a lunch reservation to the limited-time Hangyodon Pop-up Café which was held at Wong Fu Fu, a Halal-certified Taiwanese-inspired Café. We ordered the Signature Mini Bowls which feature cold ramen and Torched Smoked Duck . This set came with a Hangyodon Bag Charm ! We ordered all the three mains in the themed menu, a snack box and a themed dessert.  It is definitely worth visiting the Hangyodon Pop-Up Café , or should I say this café is a must-visit for fans!  Thanks for getting the lovely dessert cake, and thanks everyone for making time for a simple gathering to celebrate my birthday!  We continued our date after our lunch, and we headed down to HaveFun Karaoke for some singing session which is located at Bugis Cube .  As Rena needed to attend her swimming lessons, Chewy had to make a move first. We continued the night without them, so Mery...
