I won a pair of in-season passes for Hello Ghost two weeks ago... Finally I managed to squeeze in time to catch the movie before it stops its run in cinemas. I watched it with Shu Qing... --- Posters of Hello Ghost--- A depressed and lonely man, Sang-Man (played by Cha Tae-Hyun) starts seeing ghosts after attempting several suicides... Being an orphan and loner for many years, he finds himself hard to adapt when he starts seeing 4 four ghosts (smoking cab driver, alcoholic & pervert old man, crying woman and a young kid with a sweet tooth). Through a psychic, he learns that he needs to fufill their last desires before he can free himself from them. While helping them, he gets close and eventually falls in love with a beautiful nurse (starring Kang Hye-Won). As he carried out individual wishes, he discovers the pleasure of daily life and forgets about his loneliness and depression. The plot of this movie is rather simple and surprisingly meaningful... ...

I won a pair of in-season passes for It's a Great Great World!... Finally I managed to get my tickets, as the show is selling like hot-cakes right now in the cinemas... I watched it with Baby @ GV Marina... --- Poster of It's a Great Great World --- Director Kelvin Tong's latest large-scale movie - It's a Great Great World. The setting of this movie was in the 1940s and spans a couple of generations from the 40s right up to the present day. The entire story revolves around Singapore's legendary Great World Amusement Park which was once known as Tua Seh Kai (in Hokkien it means 'great world'). 'It's a Great Great World' tells the audience four stories... Each story bears a different signature component of Great World. Worth my both thumbs up! This show is definitely a nostalgic trip down memory lane for many Singaporeans including myself... I won a pair of in-season passes for The Next Three Days last month... Finally I managed to squeeze in time to catch the movie before it stops its run in cinemas. I watched it with Verlyn... --- Posters of The Next Three Days --- Life seems perfect for John Brennan (Played by Russell Crowe) until his wife Lara (Starring Elizabet Banks) is accused for a murder which she did not commit. Throughout the movie, John struggles and uses whatever he has in his means to prove her innocence. Upon being rejected on his final appeal, Lara becomes suicidal and this causes John to undergo desperate measures to break his wife out from prison. In order not to be deterred by obstacles or his own inexperience, he devises an elaborate escape plot and and risks everything for his mission.
