Random meet-ups with my usual clique

Image
I love to spend our weekends in the pool, as it is the best way to relax my mind while jacuzzi-ing away … It's another re-visit to Pigsfly Kitchen & Bar  with Meryl again! It is a casual dining eatery place which is located at East Coast Road (Katong area) , and also a place where people come together for the love of food and beer. You will find various independent kitchens serving up a variety of cuisines and a bar which serves a wide selection of artisanal beers, wine and champagne! We really love their Butter Chicken and Garlic Naan very much! We also love the food concept setting and it is a great place to catch up with your friends over a drink! I attended the Onda Pro Launch Party with Jasmine at GUOCO MIDTOWN, MIDTOWN MARKET. During the event, we were treated to sip on a glass of the handcrafted gin cocktail at the HENDRICK'S DRINKS CART. We were also treated to some interesting activities such as creating our own bouquet with fresh or dried blooms, custom wrappers...

YSL LOVE SHINE FACTORY - Tipsy Unicorn Beach Club Sentosa

Image
Both Linda and I attended the YSL LOVE SHINE FACTORY by Yves Saint Laurent Beauté. This event was held at the Tipsy Unicorn Beach Club in Sentosa , and it showcased their new YSL Loveshine lipstick collection . There were also many activities to engage in this sensory experiential pop-up. Upon entering, we were greeted by this suspended XXL heart -  which signaled the first stop on an immersive journey. We really enjoyed ourselves at this immersive pop-up which offers five YSL Loveshine experiences. We brought home a discovery kit and a miniature YSL Parfum from the premises! Thanks, Linda for making time to attend this event with me despite the hot weather. Appreciate loads! On a random weekend, I met up with SM, and we visited the FairPrice Finest store at Clarke Quay . We explored the first experiential store that pays tribute to Singapore heritage. We indulged in Heritage Cocktails at The Grocer Bar where we immersed ourselves in the full experience of Singapore he...

[wedding anniversary celebration] KOMA Singapore + Latteria Mozzarella Bar

Image
Baby made a lunch reservation to celebrate our 4th Anniversary at KOMA Singapore which is located at the  Marina Bay Sands . This eatery place is always full, a nd we finally managed to secure a spot at the restaurant. We didn't mind that it was a counter seat! The attire at KOMA is semi-casual, so do note that no slippers are allowed! The 20-metre corridor into  the restaurant has a replica Torii-Gate which   reminds me of my trip to the Fushimi Inari Shrine in Kyoto! Upon arrival, we were greeted with a brilliant smile, and were lead to our table! We had the 3-course lunch which was about SGD 58++ per pax. The 3-course Set Lunch comes with a choice of Starter, Main Course and Dessert. Apart from the set, Baby also ordered some Yakitori and Asparagus to go along with our set. For appetizers, the  Unagi Chawamushi  tasted awesome, and the Assorted Tempura was our all-time favorite! We had Ginger Honey-glazed Salmon served with Steamed Rice and Barbe...
