Have you ever tried sugarless chocolates? One might think that this would be missing the point, but what if I told you that there is a chocolatier near Chinatown selling yummy and delicious chocolate-based desserts and assorted patisseries?  An award-winning chocolate brand which is established right here in Singapore, CHOCOELF is the joint creation of an experienced chocolatier and a medical doctor, both Singaporeans, who wish to share their unique Singapore-style chocolates.  All their chocolates are handmade by using a little sugar, or no sugar at all! There, the chocolate here is suitable for diabetic individuals or for those who are health conscious! We went down to CHOCOELF specialty Chocolate  Café  as we had been hearing great things about this place. On entering the premises, it gave me a quaint and comfortable setting!  CHOCOELF chocolates are proudly made in Singapore and delivered fresh from a full-facility factory in Jurong.  We tried some o...

[Christmas gathering] Knock Knock Café + Yardbird Southern Table and Bar

As the pandemic continues, my company's D&D was called off, and the budget that had been allocated for this event was instead given to the respective HODS in my company to organize dinner for their staff instead!! The budget for each head of staff was about SGD120. My Boss, D organized a dinner gathering at  De Golden Spoon which is located at Tiong Bahru. The  Golden Spoon Bee Hoon Crab  is one of the food items that cannot be missed! The broth was umami, filled with the aroma of the crab, and the bee hoon absorbed the essence from the broth which made it very tasty! I loved the fresh Bamboo Clam which was steamed in soya sauce with glass noodles and lots of minced garlic. The  Fried Baby Squids  were delicious, as its texture was a balanced ratio of crunchy and crispy mixed with a sweet sticky sauce akin to rojak sauce!   Thanks HMM for the dinner treat, and Boss D for the lovely Christmas goodies! I am pretty pleased with this arrangement of w...

[Café Hopping] Knock Knock Café

Lately, I started to discover some cafes which are close to my area. Both S and I stay pretty near each other, so we decided to meet up for some café-hopping.  We went to Knock Knock Café , which bears a floral-theme and serves Asian fusion cuisines. I ordered the  ‘Hae Bee Hiam’ Aglio Olio  while S had the  Kelong Vongole with Spaghetti . The ‘Hae Bee Hiam’ Pasta gave me a local and nostalgic experience. I love the al dente spaghetti with the  hae bee hiam  tossed into it. Apart from the lovely main courses, we also had a bowl of Classic Ole Fries . The total damage was SGD60.  We love hanging out together and I enjoy her companionship and we will arrange another meet-up soon! We ended our day at Singpost Centre , and I took many random photos of Molly from Kennyswork ! A very Happy Advance ‘Molly Christmas’ to everyone!
