A few days ago, I was invited by Clover Films to the Red Carpet session and Gala Premiere of the movie  'Let's Eat', which is premiering on the 5th of February, 2016. The premiere date of 'Let's Eat' is set 2 days before the eve of CNY, which will gives big more choices and selections for the upcoming CNY line-up movies to viewers!   Well-known Singaporean comedians, Henry Thia, Mark Lee, and as well as Fiona Sit, actress-singer from Hong Kong appear as cameos in the movie.   'Let's Eat' is directed by Asia's most popular comedian, Chapman To, and the movie plot is about the Ah Yong Café, a reputable café which is famous for their Hainanese Chicken Rice which has been drawing a regular crowd for years. I am a big fan of Hong Kong TVB dramas, and my favorite is Triumph in the Skies which was aired in 2003 and it has been cited as one of the best TVB serial dramas. The sequel, Triumph in the Skies II was aired two years back in 2013, and although we had waited for the sequel for 10 years, some of the main casts remained the same for the second instalment. However there were new additions of popular actors / actress such as Julian Cheung and Nancy Wu, but oh well, I still prefer the original series! I was glad to be invited by Clover Films to attend the Red Carpet session and Gala Premiere of Triumph in the Skies. The red carpet was held at the Marina Bay Sands , and I was happy to be able to get a closer glimpse of Julian Cheung and Charmaine Sheh. A week ago, I was invited by Clover Films to the Red Carpet session and Gala Premiere of King of Mahjong which is premiering on the 19th February 2015. The premiere date of 'King of Mahjong' is set on the first day of CNY which marks the first Mahjong themed movie in Singapore.   Our Singapore's twins, Hayley and Jayley Woo appear as cameos in the movie. I used to watch HKG movies which featured Mahjong themes and most of them were directed by famous HKG director, Wong Jing. He is still the king of gambling themed comedy movies. 'King of Mahjong' which is directed by Malaysian director, Adrian Teh, and it runs for 112 minutes.
