Christmas getaway to KL

Image
I went for short getaway to KL to conclude my 2015's travelogue. I left for KL on Christmas Day, and my flight was in the late afternoon.   The moment we landed in KLIA2, it was time for dinner. As usual, Uncle Mike picked up us from the airport, and we went to my favorite restaurant, Iberico Kitchen which is located in Oasis Square . YES! I had Black Pig Spare Ribs that were especially glazed with honey for Christmas dinner!! The ribs were tender and flavorful. All I can say is, the ribs are to die for... Iberico Kitchen is definitely a gem for all pork lovers and do not give it a miss if you are in KL.     On Boxing Day, I had brunch at La Bodega which is located at Empire Shopping Gallery . They are famous for their breakfast/brunch set.   The price was not very cheap, as after conversion, the price was kinda on par to what we pay for in Singapore! On well, the quality made up for it.   I ordered Pancakes with ...

[makan & Shopping] Madam Kwan's + Bai Wei Xuan

Image
Baby and I went back to Subang Jaya, Selangor again to pick up 'Jazzy' from Uncle Mike's place as 'Jazzy' was kept at the workshop for servicing. We purchased a pair of 1-way tickets from Tiger Airways at SGD117 for the 2 of us. We were happy that 'Jazzy' is back with us again! Without 'Jazzy' for a week, it was really painful for us, especially for Baby, as he stays very far away from his work place.     We re-visited Madam Kwan's after a year of hiatus at Empire Shopping Gallery (ESG). Baby misses her signature Nasi Bojari so we decided to drive to ESG i/o our usual haunt, Sunway Pyramid. In case, you didn't know, there is a  Madam Kwan's in Singapore, but we have never dined there before as the prices stated in the menu here are exactly the same price in Singapore. In short, it is the currency that makes the difference! Madam Kwan's is well known for her Malaysian and Indonesian cuisine.     Baby fulf...

[opinion] Elizabeth Arden Flawless Future Caplet Serum + La Bodega

Image
Elizabeth Arden Flawless Future Caplet Serum is part of my daily skincare regime and my skin conditions seemed to improve after usage for a week, although it is not as moisturizing as the other products available from Elizabeth Arden .   This product is a treat for the skin at the first sign of aging, and it keeps our skin in good condition for the future years!     It has a lightweight and non greasy watery/gel type texture.       I had the pleasure to use this wonderful product from Flawless Future Powered by Ceramide by Elizabeth Arden all thanks to Simply Her Magazine .     I was happy that Jeanne joined us for a pampering Sunday Brunch at Empire Shopping Gallery . Instead of re-visiting Jibby & Co , this time, we went to a new eatery place for our brunch. We settled at La Bodega , and they were shortlisted in the Best Breakfast/Brunch Food Category of 2009 Awards, as well as...
