[weekend getaway] 2D 1N in KL

Image
GONG XI FA CAI A CNY weekend getaway to KL is always a relief to me, especially after 4 days of stressful work following the CNY celebrations. We drove up on a Saturday Morning at 5.30am, and we reached KL before 1039am. Mum V read about an eatery place which serves famous Menglembu Wanton Mee, and it is located at Damsansara Uptown PJ . The eatery place is called Annie 1, and it is not a place which serves famous 'Menglembu' Wanton Mee, and it is located at Damansara Uptown PJ. 'Menglembu' refers to a small town in Ipoh, Perak. The eatery place is called Annie 1 'Haha, anyone?' and is one of the best 'Ipoh' styled wanton mee within the Klang Valley! Upon reaching there, we were greeted by large crowds at the eatery place, which is always a positive sign for good food. I am so happy to see Collar again, and I simply adore this big size guy! He looks like an adult, but in reality he is still a puppy! As the tender age of 5 months old, he’s already built like a guard dog!    We had our dinner at Eagle's Nest Restaurant which is located at Kelab Golf Negara Subang (KGNS). It was a  delightful dinner and we were only here in KL for a night as we drove up on the Saturday late morning. We left KL on the Sunday afternoon.    Happy 65th Birthday, Uncle Mike! Although we only stayed a night, I still had my shopping desire fulfilled all thanks to the latest mall, Da:Men in USJ. I had to also restrict myself from spending too much as I am heading on a shopping spree trip in a few days time! Not too worry, this restriction will not apply to where I am heading and I will definitely make time to explore the city and enjoy the delicacies there too. [food gem] Eating out in Subang Jaya

Image
One of the main reason for me to keep going back to Subang Jaya is that Uncle Mike will take care of us when we are at his place. He always brings us to our favorite eatery place for Bak Tut Teh for brekkie. I simply love the dry version as it is so flavorful that I sincerely believe no one could ever resist its taste aroma! This time, we visited him again for CNY celebration, he brought us to eat dim sum. I was pretty surprised that I can find a proper Hong Kong style dim sum in Malaysia.     We went to Jin Xuan Hong Kong Dim Sum Restaurant, which is located at Damansara Jaya . It was super crowded in the morning as many locals have their morning brekkie at this eatery place.  Getting a parking lot is much easier than getting a table, so be prepared to bear the wait.     Once seated, the ordering from the menu is normally unnecessary, as the servers will carry various dim sum to your table for you to pick your choice...
