I chanced upon Hold-Zhu Tea way back in 2013, and at the time, its location was at Taman Desa Tebrau . It was the café/restaurant that I've ever seen that utilized shipping containers as its premises! Now, it has been re-named it as ' The Metallic Kitchen' .   Recently, I went to their second branch at Golden Triangle Pelangi, Taman Pelangi for some teas and snacks.   As mentioned before, The Metallic Kitchen was set up using recycled shipping containers which made it environmentally friendly. Blackball dessert shop recently opened one more outlet in Harbourfront Centre , and Baby and I visited the shop and shared a bowl of Ice   Signature Blackball . It cost us SGD5.90, which is kind of pricey as I remembered I only paid RM6.90 for the same dish at KSL City in Johor Bahru, Malaysia.     We went to have some Wanton Mee fix at Restoran Ho Seng Kee in Taman Century (near KSL Mall) instead of our favorite haunt, Restoran Yit Foh as we are going to do some comparisons...     Upon ordering, we were to wait for 20mins for our orders to be served up. The whole eatery place was full of waiting customers and a long list of take-away too...   The wantons from Restoran Ho Seng Kee are larger and filled with generous portions of lightly marinated minced pork as compared to our favorite haunt, Restoran Yit Foh . It's weekend again!! RKM's outing has always been fun for both Baby and me, as we are seeking for more new food and shopping haunts either in Singapore or Malaysia...   Baby drove out of Singapore and across the causeway and we landed ourselves at Tebrau area. As we were driving aimlessly for some food/drinks haunts, we came across an interesting design of a shop, named Hold住Tea (OM!! It is made of two shipping containers) . For us, being lured to the shop is pretty logical, as we are in the shipping industry, and obviously it DOES catch our attention.     Hold 住 Tea is the first drive-thru milk tea shop in Malaysia and it is located at Taman Desa Tebrau . It has 2 floors of seating areas for both indoor and outdoor...     As the weather was pretty scorching that day, we chose to sit indoor instead to enjoy our bubble tea, and we took some selfy photos while waiting for our drinks to be served up on the upper level... ...
