Hubsch Jess Baby's random Happenings

Image
Both Chewy and I joined ‘The 1872 Clipper Tea Co. Tea Club’ , and we were rewarded with a complimentary cold brew tea that can be redeemed from their Specialty Tea Bar located at ION Orchard.    We met up with each other on a random weekend to enjoy our ladies’ afternoon tea. We ordered some pastries to go along with their specialty black tea blends! We had a nice chat over the afternoon tea session! On a random weekend, I brought KaeGirl to Kiztopia which is located at Marina Square. KaeGirl loves playing on slides, and she tried almost all the slides located in the playground (minus those small slides for the little ones). Thanks for the invite, and it was a fun weekend for us!  Baby picked me and KaeGirl up after the kiztopia event, and brought us to Saizeriya for dinner. We went to the outlet which is located at Aperia Mall .  We brought my MIL to Hey Kee Restaurant for Mother’s Day Celebration. I am glad that she enjoyed the lunch!  After visiting Nong...

[COVID resilient - Part 01] All about meet-ups with friends + Dining with loved ones

After further easing of community measures against COVID-19, life in Singapore has generally returned to pre-pandemic days. For example, there is no more group size limits for gatherings. Of course, there are still some changes, but I think most of us have gotten used to it. Masking up is still required when taking the MRT/LRT and public buses, as well as when at indoor public transport facilities and within the premises of hospitals and polyclinics. All Singaporeans have gone through a lot for the past 2 + years, and now we can see the fruit of our perseverance and endurance. I have almost resumed my lifestyle to what it was previously. I've met up for meal gatherings with my friends, attended big scale events and most importantly, I've been overseas multiple times this year! I feel blessed and content for everything that I have now. A big thank you for making this happen, Singapore! I re-visited  Super Thai Singapore by Soi Aroy  after a fairly- long  hiatus. This eate...

Louis Vuitton shipping containers display pop-up + February edition Partibox from Particlub

Image
I just love the weekends! These are the days which are perfect for OOTDs!  There is now a Louis Vuitton shipping container display pop-up directly outside ION Orchard ! It caught our attention when we drove past it, hence we wanted to go there to take some photos. Thanks baby for bringing me there! This striking red installation is part of the Louis Vuitton’s Men's Spring Summer 2021 Collection . What is more prestigious is that Singapore is one of the few ports of call for these travelling containers! So do head down to ION Orchard this CNY period as the display is only until Feb 20. Baby finally tried out the ‘ Signature White Mee Hoon’ at the original outlet at  Jalan Tampang . We were surprised that there was no queue when we were there, so we decided to to settle  our dinner at the place! I personally prefer the food that was served here at the original outlet, as compared to the rest of their other branches. I guess their original head chef is located here!...

Dining indulgence at Jumbo Seafood + Sushiro + Fu Lin Men

Happy Holidays!     During the Circuit Breaker period, my working relationship with my customers/shippers became closer even though I was working from home (WFH). I was surprised that one of my shippers called me to arrange for a date for a dim sum brunch on a random Saturday. I agreed to meet her, and we met up at the Singapore Recreation Club (SRC) . We settled our meal at Fu Lin Men Restaurant .   We made use of this meet up to do a gift-exchange as well, and she is so sweet that she helped me to obtain a Passion Group VIP card from the restaurant for my future dining  indulgence. Lastly, thanks T for the meal treat! We will catch up soon, and keep in touch always! Due to the pandemic,  my company D&D was called off, and the budget that was allocated for this was given to the respective HODs in my company to organize dinner for their staff instead!! The budget for each head of staff was about SGD120. My Boss, D organized organized a dinner gat...
