After a super long hiatus, we recently revisited Sum Kee Food, which is located at Yeo’s Building. This eatery place used to be our to go-to food haunt when we had cravings for zi char fare, but we stopped patronising this place due to Baby’s workplace being no longer nearby. Our home is relatively far away too.
After so many years, Sum Kee Food has never failed to impress us with
the food they serve. Yes, we had a filling and delightful lunch.
We ordered their popular dish, Ultraman Chicken. I believe you must be amused by the name of the dish! Oh well, literally, this dish is Fried Chicken with Salted Egg. We also had the Traditional Hotplate Tofu and Three Egg Treasures Vegetable. The damage was significantly higher than before!
I recently visited the Seafood Paradise outlet located at Clarke Quay, as Baby had a voucher to redeem a complimentary Curry Fish Head served in Claypot when we hit our minimum spend of SGD50.
We started off with some Fresh Oysters as our appetiser!
The Baked Pork Rib with Honey Pepper Sauce was surprisingly delicious! It is baked not fried, and each pork rib preserved its tender juiciness. I loved the umami flavours from the baked pork ribs. It was very appetising and was our favorite part of the entire meal!
We did a google review and received a bowl of refreshing dessert! Our damage was pretty reasonable! I will definitely come back for their Baked Pork Rib again!
Baby fell in love with the mains which are served at Hoshino
Coffee, so we went there again for dinner. This time we visited the outlet in
Suntec City. He had his favorite Hoshino Coffee's Pot-Baked Curry
Rice which was served
with generous chunks of sausages, broccoli and a semi-molten egg.
I ordered the Teriyaki Chicken Spaghetti, and it tasted good too!
The damage was pretty reasonable. We will be back again during Baby’s birthday month to enjoy more savings!
We went to Sushiro for our dinner, as they are presently having a collaboration with Pokémon! We ordered the limited-time menu items and obtained some of the exclusive themed freebies!
During the event period, we ordered their exclusive menu items,
and each item came with a small themed gift for us to take home!
Our meal damage hit the minimum spending, we were eligible to purchase the limited edition Pokémon Sports Towel. We picked up 2 designs!
Lastly, I went back to KFC to pick up another Pokemon Reversible Everyday Blind Pouch, and I got Mew. Argh! I missed my favorite - Snorlax.
