Sephora's FIRST BEAUTY PLAYHOUSE

Image
~ Exploring Sephora's FIRST BEAUTY PLAYHOUSE ~ My Malaysian Bloggers / You-tubers friends came down to SG, and along with CK, they joined me to the Sephora Playhouse! This year, Sephora celebrated their 10th anniversary with an insta-worthy fun-house filled with activities and workshops.   We were there on the first day of the 10-day event, and were glad to be part of the celebration. The Sephora Playhouse is the biggest pop-up event for beauty obsessed fans like us! It featured various fancy themed rooms from various beauty brands such as Too Faced, Fresh, Urban Decay, and many more, just to name a few! Upon entering the premises, we were greeted by a giant lipstick tube, which I took various random photos against! We had fun sliding down from the prettiest slide that I've ever seen!   Thanks STRONGBOW for the complimentary free-flow Semi-sweet Cider drinks, which we enjoyed dearly. We had a wonderful tim...

[random] Dinner at Poké Lulu + Misc

Image
Recently, Tracy and I attended the #freetobe Sephora event , and we were delighted to receive a gift bag as an appreciation from Sephora, for joining them at the event.   Thereafter we settled for a dinner at Poké Lulu, which is located at Orchard Central. The vibrant staple Hawaiian dish called Poké is getting more and more popular among foodies in Singapore, and one of the main reasons for this is that Singaporeans are leading a healthier lifestyle lately! Tracy made use of her Entertainer App , which allows us to obtain a 1-for-1 deal! We ordered a small bowl each.   Like many shops, you get to choose from either a rice or salad base, and from there, you can also pick from a choice of raw fish (salmon or tuna in original/wasabi mayo/spicy sauce), and other varieties of add-ons of superfoods! Below was my  Poké bowl with my self-picked ingredients that consisted of a serving of raw fish, 4 additional add-ons, and a choice of 1 type of ‘Super...

[random] Ramen Nagi + Red Star Restaurant

Image
After my visit to 'Ramen Nagi' with some of my colleagues a few weeks back, I told Baby that the Ramen tasted pretty good, and he was quite receptive to giving the place a visit for dinner during a random mid-week. He came down to Suntec City after work, and lucky there was no queue at all. Both of us ordered the Original Butao King . The texture of the Tonkotsu broth was velvety smooth and it tasted good. I love the noodles very much and it went well with the creamy collagen-filled broth! The damage was SGD30-plus.   Recently, there are many new food joints that have opened at Suntec City, and being a avid foodie myself, I visited OMU for a random weekday lunch with my colleagues Suni and Irene! The total damage was SGD46-ish! Another Sunday Dim Sum Brunch with Baby and Auntie Vi! This time we visited the old Red Star Restaurant which is located at Chin Swee Road . The Red Star Restaurant is an old school Cantonese Restaurant with a big di...
