[yay or nay] Wakuda + Peace Japanese Cuisine

Baby surprised me with an excellent dinner on on Christmas Day, and we went to Wakuda which is located at Marina Bay Sands Hotel, Tower 2, and is helmed by world-renowned two-Michelin-star chef Tetsuya Wakuda. The interior of Wakuda i s elegant and contemporary. The main dining area is designed for couples or group dining, and the centre-stage - an open concept kitchen counter where the chefs are at work. I love their handcrafted cocktails such as the restaurant’s signature Lady from Shizuoka , which is a mix of Roku Gin, Strawberry Sake, and Sakura Liqueur, topped with a frozen Strawberry Lollipop. We started off with the 'Yuba Beancurd' , an appetizer which consisted of fresh beancurd skin from Kyoto, Sea Urchin from Hokkaido and Mountain Caviar. It was served in a cocktail glass, which made it look visually appetizing.  The Kyoto Yuba is amazingly fresh, and the beancurd skin went well with the Uni and Caviar! Baby was invited to the Private Preview of the Affordable Art Fair 2017 which was held at the F1 Pit Building . Both Baby and I are art lovers, and we always relish the opportunity to view art! We had a splendid evening at the art fair, and we felt that this year's instalment was much bigger as compared to the previous ones. There were more art exhibitors and more showcases on different type of art pieces. My Sat-date OOTD at Downtown Core ! Baby and I had a good chill-out session on a Saturday afternoon, and we visited the flagship outlet of The Providore which is located at Downtown Gallery . We enjoyed the 1-for-1 drink deal during happy hour, and we shared some fries to go along with our drinks. Thanks Downtown Gallery for the treat!
