Dinner at Teahouse 1973 + Misc Local Eats

I was pretty sad to learn that my bosom colleague/friend Suni had submitted her resignation letter. Her last day in the company was coming real soon.  Leaving the company doesn't mean losing a friend, and this is an assurance she repeats to us. However, the thought of not being able to meet her anymore daily in the office made us all feel gloomy. However, we are comforted by the fact that she ensured she would meet up with us often to catch up over a meal!   I invited the Lee family over to join me for a swim during the Hari Raya holiday, and they enjoyed themselves very much, especially Baby Rena. We took a photo at the SkyPark!  We went to nearby café - Teahouse 1973 for dinner. It is a humble café which serves traditional home recipes of culinary flavors of Penang, Malaysia in a modern twist. I ordered the Nasi Lemak with Sambal Sotong. I'm back again to Saizeriya Restaurant ! This time, I visited the outlet which is located at Aperia Mall . Baby and I are greatly attracted to the price tags indicated in the menu. For our mains, I had the C hicken + Sausage Combo while Baby had S eafood Pasta , which are our usual favorites! For this particular meal, we had a plate of Mid-Joint Chicken Wings , which were served on a hotplate. These were marinated very well and tasted AWESOME! Remember to eat them while they are hot as the skin will become soggy due to the layer of oil on the hotplate.   The damage was pretty pleasant, hence the reason why we love dining at Saizeriya ! GREAT FOOD QUALITY DOESN'T NECESSARILY MEAN IT COMES WITH A HEFTY PRICE TAG!   On another day, we went to 'The Village' at Serangoon Gardens for our weekend lunch.
