Bak Chor Mee is a favourite classic in Singapore, and is also considered as comfort food for many Singaporeans. They are commonly found in our local scene yet this dish can be hard to nail. The Minced Pork Bros stall is easily distinguished by their pop-art neon blue signboard, and they are located at Old Airport Road Food Centre , one of the oldest and largest hawker centres in Singapore. I went there on a Saturday afternoon, and I was greeted by a long line! It took me a while to get my order, and I was genuinely impressed by their bak chor mee. Presentation doesn’t bother me, as I always judge food on its most fundamental part. In this case it's the noodles! Thankfully, they were excellent with a perfect springy bite, and most importantly, they didn’t have a strong alkaline taste, which is always a plus point for me!
