Road Trip: Quick fix at Yong Peng and Kota Tinggi
On our way to Malacca (Melaka), we stopped by Yong Peng for lunch, and we exited from the Yong Peng and drove into the peaceful town. Yong Peng is in the Batu Pahat district which is well-known for their Mackerel Fish Balls among the locals and of course Singaporeans too, and it is also a place for traditional Chinese fare. We went to one of the popular eatery places in Yong Peng, Hock Swee Hin which is featured on the Malaysia’s newspapers. It was a scorching afternoon, and we were almost dehydrated from our 2hours plus road trip (including massive jam at both checkpoints). So we ordered a refreshing coconut drink each for ourselves...
