[shout-out] Run For Wildlife - Safari Zoo Run 2017

Have you paid a visit to the Singapore Zoo lately? If it has been a long time since your last visit, why not take the opportunity to do so with the upcoming Safari Zoo Run 2017 on the 18th February 2017, Saturday morning ! The Safari Zoo Run 2017 is a fun-filled animal-themed run for families, friends and even loved ones. This year, participants can choose to run for an endangered species of their choice and to raise awareness for wildlife conservation.   The 4 endangered species animal icons are:    Canola the Manatee - supporting aquatic mammals    Ah Meng the Orangutan - supporting Sumatran orangutans Chawang the Asian Elephant - supporting Sumatran elephants    Sunny the Hornbill - supporting helmeted hornbills Apart from the 4 animal icons, there is also 4 race categories to choose from that are suited everyone to join in the run.   10km Safari Zoo Challenge 5.5km Safari Zoo Family Run ...

I was glad to receive an extended invitation from Claressa to visit the River Safari and I accepted it without a second thought. Beside Baby always wanted to visit the the Giant Duo Pandas, so this was the perfect chance to do so!   It was my second visit to River Safari, but I was still feeling excited as during my last trip, the River Safari was still partly under construction, so this trip completed my excursion of the River Safari!   A Crab-eating Macaque was spotted at the River Safari, and it looked so cute!     There is a 3-metre high aquarium at the majestic Mekong River which is also known as the 'Mother of all Rivers'.   I love the  Mekong River attraction, the best, which is among the 7 famous rivers: Mississippi River, Murray River, Ganges River, Yangtze River, Congo River, Mekong River and River Nile.   The rare seen Chinese Alligator is spotted at Yangtze River, Asia's longest river and ...

The River Safari is a river-themed zoo which is located between the Singapore Zoological Gardens and Night Safari, and it is mainly on freshwater attractions. The River Safari has 7 famous rivers in the world as it's theme, and we were about to explore them. the rivers are the  Mississippi River, Mekong River, Yangtze River, Ganges River, Congo River, Murray River and lastly, River Nile. The 8th river which is the Amazon River is not yet opened to the public.   The main highlight attractions at the River Safari is the pair of male and female giant pandas – Kai Kai and Jia Jia which are housed in a specially constructed climate-controlled enclosure which change throughout the four seasons emulating their original environment.         Pardon me for this extremely out-dated post.
