[random] Canon iNSPiC series + Pasta Fresca Da Salvatore

Image
After 5 years of hiatus, I re-visited Antoinette which located Penhas Road , as I stay nearby to the Lavender area. The place looks so jaded as compared to my last visit, although it is still a great place for desserts. Baby and I shared the Japanese soufflé pancakes - Tres Berries , and share a pot of Chamomile tea . I really enjoyed the desserts in Antoinette and I will be back. I really hope that they can do some refurbished in their furniture. I still want to keep my memories fresh of the hay days of Antoinette. I re-visited Soi 47 Thai Food after a hiatus of 2 years. This eatery place is located at King George Road . We started off with the Thai Prawn Cake , and it tasted super yummy!  We also ordered a bowl of Tom Yum cream Soup with Seafood . The spiciness level just right for us and it is pretty authentic. The soup does come with a generous portion of seafood, which included fried fish and prawn. The total damage was about SGD35! ...

I am really grateful that I got the opportunity to attend the movie preview screening of 'The Lingering'. On the eve of Chinese New Year, Qingyi and her son Dawa, awaited for husband/father Shizi's return from work. They are staying in a remote village, while the husband works in the town a fair distance away. Unfortunately, Shizi never comes home. Dawa starts seeing a strange apparition, which Qingyi cannot see. In the meantime, Qingyi leaves the boy with her neighbour in order to travel to the  village committee building, which has the only telephone that will allow her to contact her husband's workplace. Unfortunately, she winds up hearing that a terrible accident has occurred at the factory, and her husband is no more. The story then shifts to 30 years later, where  Dawa has grown up and shifted away from the village. He hears about his mother's death and returns to the village to handle the necessary funeral arrangements and other issues...

ELLE Fashion Journal Workshop

Image
Thanks Linda for extending her invite to allow me to attend to the  ELLE Fashion Journal Workshop with Canon . The venue was held at Fullhouse Cafe, Rendevous Hotel Gallery . I took this photo when I was at the Rendevous Hotel, and I simply love the high ceiling which looks just like a dome. After hearing some book-scrapping experts advice on how to creatively put together a page with elements of the latest runway tips and trends, w e were on our own to show off our layout skills and create our very own fashion journal from scratch. I have selected some fashion images and we were allowed to print them out from the Canon Pixma Printers that were available during the workshop for my fashion journal usage. Each attendee was given a basic starter kit which include art papers, decorative materials,  embellishment and a working tool - tape glue. Courtesy from Paper Market. My final art work... I brought ba...
